Miss Taicho and her team of medic mages teleported to the ocean the four were floating on. Shizuka and Yasushi were barely conscious, Takeshi and Ume were knocked out, taking an explosion of 65 trigintillion gigawatts of TNT head-on, they'll be out in a good couple of weeks, their missing limbs should grow back in a couple of hours after the burns are treated.
The medical team carried Shizuka, Yasushi, Ume, and Takeshi to the academy infirmary where they can heal.
Soon after, while Ume was resting in the infirmary after being treated, a big jolly man with a beard and a cane stepped foot in the room. It was Ume's father, Leera Kawa. He looked at his unconscious daughter lying there with a missing leg and arm. Leera walked over to his daughter and saw that Ume had been going through a lot as he looked at the scars on her arm, and felt that it'd be better if she healed, both physically and mentally, at the place she was born. He requested that Ume'd be brought home so she can heal in her homeland, Thalia Hollow. Miss Taicho allowed this.
He also looks at the barely conscious Takeshi, who was lying there staring up at the ceiling with a missing arm. Leera walked over to Takeshi. "Thank you for protecting our family yet again... I am in your debt..." Takeshi unable to speak, just nodded to Leera, who had been looking after Takeshi ever since he was orphaned as a child. Takeshi always lived by himself, but he'd always stop by Thalia Hollow to help around the locals as well as fight against the darkness that always attacked the hollow. Due to feeling the need to return the favor, Ume's parents Leera and Meiko always brought food to Takeshi's apartment. Ume or barely anyone else in the hollow never knew Takeshi at the time since he always appeared and disappeared seconds later as a child. He was known as "The Orange Ghost."
Leera took Ume home with him.
