"Shit!" I look up to see a boy I have never seen before. I quickly bend down and start gathering my books up. "I am so sorry! I got distracted and I-" His laughter cuts me off. I feel my face grow hot and I probably look like a tomato.
"It's fine I was distracted as well." I awkwardly fumble with my books before desperately turning to Laura for help. She rolls her eyes before sticking her hand out.
"Hi I'm Laura." He smiles and shakes her hand.
"Miles." He turns to me. "And you are"
"M-Matilda but just call me Tilly"
"Well Tilly it was very nice to meet you. And you as well Laura." And just like that he walks down the hall out of sight. I turn to Laura and she laughs.
"That was so funny, you turned into a tomato. I thought you would explode!" She starts laughing harder and i feel all the eyes staring at us.
"Laura stop it!"
"I am so getting his number for you." She runs down the hall and I start running after her.
"Laura!"
I swear I am writing Miles thinking about my crush and now i am sad because I know he doesn't like me back.
