"I WILL STRIKE YOU DOWN!"

Undyne's words rang out strongly, and Cross growled and glared at Error who seemed almost giddy with the challenge. The dumb ass had just ruined any chance of an element of surprise. Undyne didn't hesitate and threw herself at Dust, screaming her battles cries and wielding a bright spear.

"Fuck."

Dust teleported to the side, just barely dodging Undyne's attack. He turned to her, looking pissed and crazed. His eyes flared with color as he laughed and cackled into the air, a hellspawn of bloodied and sharp bone attacks raining down from the sky upon the war goddess. Undyne looked up, summoning spears to defend herself as the broken rain of death aimed directly for her. Dust had pulled out an attack that would do damage for sure. As every bone flew down, the ground around Undyne grew mauled and broken. Nothing would grow after this surely. The defense Undyne had summoned was barely enough to keep her protected. Shattered magic attacks lay motionlessly on the wrecked surrounding. Yet despite it all, the goddess stood proudly standing amount the decay, readying herself to attack. She wielded her long speared staff, whirling it around her with skill as a distraction and intimidation method.

Cross, Error, and Dust stood below Undyne, looking up at her with frustration. This was going to take awhile. Cross summoned his blood-red giant knife, pointing it at the war goddess defiantly as he announced, "Kill her." Error and Dust both rushed Undyne head on, Error using his glitched coding and strings to try tangling the goddess in his web, only to instead trap Dust. Dust cussed at Error, and Undyne took her chance to analyze the situation while Error chased her, trying to catch her like a sort of cat and mouse game, Cross working to cut out Dust.

Undyne saw that of everyone, Cross was the weakest, however he was the best strategist, seeing as he was pointing things out to Dust about Undyne's weaknesses. This Error character seemed untouchable with his power, so Dust was the best attack option, seeing as he was very strong, but reckless. Undyne targeted him, and turned in his direction, him and Cross both readying themselves as they saw her.

Undyne dove down at the two and Dust and Cross cussed and scrambled out of the way. They were fast, but Undyne was faster. She grabbed Cross by his scarf and Dust by his hood and she slammed the two into each other; hearing a satisfying crack that said she'd done her damage. Cross yelped in pain and Dust cussed loudly, shoving Cross away with a harsh move. Cross managed to get up and he turned to Undyne, targeting her and launching himself at her too. Error was there, and Undyne just wasn't. Cross ran into Error and both found themselves tangled and caught in Error's nuisance of strings. Effective as they were, they were not good at choosing their targets. Everyone was a target of the web of entanglement including their puppet master himself.

Undyne now had Dust to herself. She'd make sure that he was gone first. Hopefully Sans could deal with him later. Undyne and Dust came at each other with shared intent to end the other's life. Undyne came down fast and threw herself into Dust, the blow doing its job effectively and knocking Dust back off the waterfall. Undyne watched him go, nodding softly. As much as their entrance was uncalled for and clearly with evil intent, this was a fallen warrior. She had honor for Dust. Misplaced sure, but it was truly there.

Error and Cross watched, and Cross bit his lip to refrain from panicking. Fuck, he hated everyone he worked with, but not like that. He managed to cut himself out of the strings and he came crashing down upon Undyne, for once ignoring his strategies and just stabbing at her blindly. It wasn't very effective but worked anyways and Undyne gasped and sprawled back, one of her arms looked torn open from the stab wounds. She was hurt...good. Cross went at attacking her and the battle was on. Meanwhile, Error watched from above. He was free for the most part, but didn't want to reign in on Cross's pathetic little flurry of rage. There was no need. He was just waiting for Undyne to be fatally injured and be forced to revert to her undying form. That would be when he came in. But as he watched, he noticed something odd. This part of Waterfall was not secluded by any means. Usually the place would have at least one or two scared citizens trying to escape or even aid Undyne. But alas, the place was quiet. There was only the sounds of fighting as Cross and Undyne went at it, and the trickles of water... and beneath it something small approaching.
