so as class started i just sat on the ground next to a bloody golf club and cried. i didn't care if anyone called me a sissy or something. i hate violence and i was very pacifistic. then, the guidance counselor came along and said, "oh no you don't!" and dragged me down to the principal's office too. i awaited my turn and i heard a lot of yelling and swearing inside the office and i started to silently cry again. i just wanted to go home. my real home in halifax, not some cruel rude place here. then i saw michael burst out of the room and i covered my face with my hood so he wouldn't see me crying as he stormed into the hall. " mason, the other michael, bobby, josh, and sean, please come into my office now." the principal stated firmly. the principal said," ok, who wants to tell me what happened first?" i raised my hand slowly then shot it back down when everyone glared at me. " bobby, you may begin since i don't know you well enough yet."" well,"i nervously said," i have a video, i was filming so i could remember where my classes were and the fight broke out." the film showed how it started, the jock and the golfer kid pounding them, and michael and mason cheering, jeering, and shouting awful things in the background. when it was all over i made 4 enemies and 1 supporter, and luckily my supporter was the most important...the principal. he thanked me and let me go home early as i wished since it was traumatic for me for a first day, and so i did. michael thanked me profusely also and got off the hook with no punishments. it might not have been a great first day, but at least it was exciting.
