"As I entered in what is to be my office, I was greeted with with a bright sunny view from my window. I don't really have much experience in the medical field. And if you are wondering about why I do have an office for just a mere nurse such as myself, then let me explain in this spare journal I've just found within my desk. As I am writing this right now. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but things are about to get interesting. My phone is ringing right and so I shall answer it. It is my first call Afterall and I am really excited and looking forward in what is to come.

My first patient just called in and told me that she'll be coming unexpectedly. I didn't like the sound of it but well it is my first day, so everything will seem unexpected at this moment. While waiting, I am writing here today about something. As much as this day seems exciting, I can also feel a negative vibe that is about to take place in my office as soon as the patient arrives. I just felt that sensation that something's bad about to happen, but I have got to keep a positive attitude.

At last! My first patient had arrived! I was about to get bored and sleepy, but thankfully I am again full of life and energy from this enthusiasm! This patient seemed a little off for my liking though. I can't help but wonder... Things started off with self introduction. I introduced myself and so did my patient. There is just something off about this day. I took what little knowledge I have about nursing into the test and did an average pass were I to rate myself. I can't hear the patients heartbeat well enough. Maybe I just don't know how to use a stethoscope. The patient left in quite a disappointment though. I know I'm just starting, but well I'm not good enough perhaps. I'm not even sure how I became a nurse with an office to begin with.

Back to my table and the first thing I see is a note. The patient's number... Why? Is the patient asking me out on a date!? That's highly unprofessional! Still it is not like I'm professional myself so why not. Calling the patient, using this clinic's phone, right now would be highly unprofessional. I could do it later...

I had fallen asleep and had the weirdest dream. I was on a stretcher being wheeled to an operation table. It was all happening too fast! Everyone's face was blurry. I couldn't move any of my body. I saw my reflection up the glass ceiling and ironically I was still wearing my nurse outfit, while I was being the patient. I saw that there was something red on me, but I was too groggy and tired till I passed out.

On my way out since my shift ended. Weird isn't it? I'm a nurse with an office. I'm not sure why. Shouldn't I be assigned to like assists doctors and patients around the building instead of lying around lazily in my supposed office? Nobody seemed to be bothered that i had an office. In fact everyone treated me like I'm some doctor. I mean doesn't knowledge about the medical field earn their respect? I'm surprised at this.

I went back home, took the number out, and called the number. The other line picked up and it was a woman. She wanted to meet me somewhere and that I had to be in "uniform". I asked specifically what uniform. She told me to wear my nurse outfit. Again I asked her if its blue regular scrubs or my other attire. She told me the latter. The following conversation went on like this:
Me: good evening. Is this the patient I met earlier?
Her: no, that would be my husband. He told me that you treated him poorly.
Me: I'm terribly sorry mam. Its only my first day. Though may I ask, why did your husband left his number on my desk. It is highly unprofessional mam.
Her: oh, my apologies. I wanted to meet you actually. I ordered my husband to bring my number to you. I just want to tell you a few things about the medical field... If you're interested... Also please be in uniform.
Me: me? In uniform? Like as in the blue scrubs?
Her: no, silly. I meant your other uniform. If its even a uniform. You know the one you wore to work awhile ago. My husband commented about it saying it was highly unprofessional, but for me i would say that it sounds sexy.
Me: I'll consider it. When do we meet?
Her: how about tonight? I'm sure you don't have anything to do and trust me about lending you a hand when it comes to the skills you'll be learning for your next shift.
Me: okay! I'm in. Where do we meet exactly?
