Early this morning, a journal was found in the room of a guest who had just disappeared. Traces of blood have been found on the floor carpet as well as bed and walls of the room. No witnesses were present during the homicide. The victim still hasn't been found in full. Police have barricaded the specific room for further investigation as the journal is being studied for further information. The following is what had transpired within the journal.

I came into this hotel to seek an escape from the mediocrity of the safety of my own home. I had seek out some dangerous adventure and as I may look happy from picture above, that is a smile of regret. I just wanted a thrill in my life, but perhaps I had asked more than what I had bargained for. I had to search the Internet you see and I found this nice semi-abandoned hotel which peaked my curiosity. I didn't let anybody else know what I wanted to do as well but eventually of course if people did come looking for me, well I had left a note back home saying where I was going. You know, just to make sure they find me on time or at least a piece of me...

So far the bathroom looked decent. I know this is rather a really old hotel, but the bathroom is still in mint condition. The shower looks decent and the sink has this amazing marbled design as if I was still living in the glory days of this hotel. I did saw one odd thing though. There are these weird round looking things around my room. I did not think much of it perhaps maybe it was just part of the decors. It blends well with the room's color schemes anyways, but still I just can't shake this feeling of uneasiness within me. I feel like something terrible is going to happen, but I just can't put my finger into it.
When I first walked the halls of my room's floor, it felt like walking within a brand new hotel. I know this is an old hotel and that I had even read reviews about it from former guests, who did say that this hotel was old and possibly haunted but seeing is believing and to me, this hotel just feels brand new. Possibly maybe I just read a review that wanted to destroy the reputation of this hotel. I didn't get what I had asked for which happened to be thrill, but at least I get to stay in a nice hotel at a discounted price. I just wondered on why people would want to ruin this hotel's reputation in the first place. I mean that perhaps that they are merely business rivals or that this hotel does have an infamous reputation. Now I know that I don't really have any belief in the paranormal but if it does have something to do with the paranormal, then I'll just have to witness it first hand and then maybe I will understand the reasons for the scarcity of guests within this hotel.
