with that said, she left happily wearing her necklace around her neck and possibly eagerly going to show it to her friends on the way. while walking towards home, she had encountered men searching for something as she overheard them searching for a certain necklace. she decided to stay away from their path and headed home before they came to her. she was curious as well, but she smelled them to be trouble for her as she feared they might take her necklace from her neck. as she was walking, she noticed how people starred at her chest. they were scared for her and she was puzzled to question on why. one of the merchants, who saw her necklace, let out his jaws wide open and showed her the sign of the cross. a few just grinned at the thought of what's going to happen to her as they had gestured with their fingers and performing a downward movement from their necks down to their chest. she of course had no idea on what they were trying to say to her. she eventually left for her hometown. meanwhile back in town, the merchant was about to close shop when a group of men approached his shop and asked for the whereabouts of a specific necklace. they had given the full details of it and that all he could say was that he had no idea about its value and sold it to a lady at a very low price. they asked for his last customer's description and they were out of his way before he knew it. he didn't care about his customers' well being just profit after all.
