I smiled as I sat in the passenger seat of Yena's car, her turning down the booming music. We were going to some party again, in a random girls house that's in the same year as us in school.
I decided on a simpler outfit this time, a burgundy tight skirt and a black top, paired with heels. My make up and hair was the same as last time, nothing really changing.
"I'm not leaving my house for the rest of the year, I've been out too much lately," I joked as she pulled up to the house, not as busy as the last party. "Yes you will, I'm going to force you," She said as we got out of the car.
We found the others and a quick little corner of the house with nice chairs to sit in and a few people just talking. The atmosphere was so much calmer than the last party, I liked it.
We were all talking, having conversations with the people around us too while sipping the drinks the girl who owned the house had offered us. Everyone was so nice, no one was crazy drunk. It was the perfect setting.
The fairy lights ran from wall to wall as there were plants and a soft golden glow coming off of the old fashioned lightbulbs that hung from the ceiling in an attempt to make the house seem more vintage, a modern kind of vintage.
"I'm going to get more drinks," Hoseok said and stood up, the others following him. Jungkook and I were sat on a sofa near the end the room, still talking to the few people who were around us, laughing and joking with him.
They left after a while and it was just us two, still talking. "Why did you ask for my number in the first place?" I asked him, curious as to why he wanted to text me.
"I thought you were hot," He shrugged and took a sip of his drink, "That's all?" I asked and he nodded, "Why'd you text me back?" He smirked and it was my turn to shrug. "I didn't know the number, and you wouldn't stop texting me," I laughed and so did he.
He looked at me, dead in the eyes, finishing the laughing fit we just had. "You're okay though now?" He asked and I nodded, "Yeah, I'm good," I said and he nodded. "So, you're totally over him?" He asked me and I thought for a second.
If I see him in the street, would I want to run up and kiss him?
If I see him holding some girls hand now, would I freak out again like I once did? These questions ran through my brain for what felt like minutes, which was only a milli second before I answered him. "Yeah, I think I'm over him," I nodded and Jungkook smiled, "So, you wouldn't mind if I did this?" He leant forward, connecting his lips with mine.
I sat, frozen, not knowing what to do at his sudden movement. A couple of seconds went by and I snapped back to reality, my instinct to connect my hand to his hair kicked in, therefore deepening the kiss.
I felt him smirk into the kiss as he placed a hand on my jaw. The feeling erupted goosebumps down my legs, my whole body nearly caving in at the feeling I felt while kissing him, a feeling I'd never felt before.
It would've lasted longer, if only we didn't hear Hoseok's loud laugh coming down the hall, making me pull back and fix myself as Jungkook smirked and pouted, quickly pecking my lips as the others walked in, watching Jungkook doing this.
"Wait-" Taehyung said, Yena coming to the front, "Did you two just kiss?" She asked cocking her head forward to look me in the eyes. I blushed as I looked down, playing with my fingers on my lap as Jungkook laid back and spread his arms, giving them a playful, arrogant smirk.
"Oh my god!" I looked away as Yena came up to me, sitting beside me and waiting until I stopped blushing, "Come on, stop being embarrassed and let's go dance," She pulled me up and the others followed behind.
I laughed at how she danced, Jimin coming beside her and copying what she was doing. I hadn't noticed how good of a dancer Jungkook was until I eyed him from beside me. Even though we weren't fully dancing, he still looked really good.
"I can't believe you two," Yena smiled, "I gave him your number to prove you wouldn't tell him about your ex, and now look at you!" My smile altered.
"What?" I said, "I wanted to prove to him you wouldn't just tell him everything, or hook up with him, so I gave him your number to try," She said, still smiling. My heart started beating faster, "You just wanted to hook up with me?" I asked, turning to look at him.
"What? No, no, not- at the start Yes, but not-" I cut him off, "What the fuck," I said lowly, "And you just used me as an example of how weak girls can be, are you joking?" I asked and she looked lost for words.
"Fuck you both,"
