The Future is Bulletproof

Oh Baby!!!

We arrived at the hospital. The nurse brought us into an empty delivery room.

They checked Scarlett's vitals and hooked her up to a machine to monitor her.

She was 6 centimeters. They decided to give her the epidural to ease her pain.

She took a nap, while I went downstairs to bring our parents and Poppy up.

As I met them, I lead them up to the elevator and into our room.

"Okay so she's at 6 centimeters right now, and she's currently resting since she's in pain" I informed them.

As I went into our room, Scarlett was waking up.

"Hey how ya feeling?" I asked.

"Um fine. The doctor just came in and said that I'm at 8 now. So we are gonna have her very soon." She said I nodded.

"So Poppy and our parents are here." I said.

"Let them come in. I want them here for the birth." She said. I nodded and opened the door and let them in.

SCARLETT POV

The family came in and greeted me.

"So the doctor came in and I'm at 8 centimeters right now. I want you guys to be here to witness the birth." I said and everyone nodded.

The nurses came to clear out the room and bring in the equipment.
I let them know that I wanted whoever was here to be inside the room with me and Brendon.

Another hour past, after me being in pain the doctor came back and checked that my contractions are two seconds away and it was time for me to give birth.

Everyone gathered in the room.

Brendon helped tie my hair up. He was on my right side holding my hand and saying that I can do it and kissed me. His parents were beside him too.

On my left side Poppy was there holding my hands and was with my parents.

Then the doctor sat down and told me to push.

After pushing a couple of times, I felt relieved. Why?!?

Well because the doctor just pulled out baby girl out of me and she was crying.

"Baby girl, Born at 7:16pm on May 22nd"

I let Brendon go over to the baby. He cut the umbilical cord. The doctor ran some tests on her to see if she's healthy.

Meanwhile, the nurse chased everyone out to the waiting room while they cleaned the room up.

They cleaned me up and put me in a newer bed and brought me to the new room.

Once they wheeled me in they brought our family to that room as well.

We all sat around talking about the birth and how I was feeling.

Then the doctor came into the room and brought her over to me. I held her in my arm. She was so adorable, she had all of Brendon's face features including the forehead. She had my ears, my hair.

Geez Brendon's genes are strong. Once we finished admiring her. I let her latch on to me while I feed her.

"Okay, so time to name baby Urie" the doctor said.

I nodded. Brendon and I picked out a few names of our child is a boy or girl so we had the names in mind.

"Her name shall be Ava Scarlett Urie" Brendon said and I nodded.

"Aww that is a adorable name." The doctor said signing the birth certificate.

After that I let Brendon carry the baby. Then our family and friends that came to visit carried her.
