Are You Thinking Maggie's A Bitch For Rejecting John? Well People She Must Have Her Reasons Hey? (Kraze...*Cough Cough*)
Chapter Nine; Where have you gone?
I had spent that whole last week thinking about what had gone wrong in my confession; maybe I was too fast or something. And I had also tried calling and texting Maggie the whole, but not once had I gotten an answer.
It was if she had removed me from her life without my permission and I was the only one trying to get back together with her. Had I really meant nothing to her but a friend? I had been sure that day during that storm, that we were more than friends.
"This is Maggie's phone, leave a message at the beep if you want, I wouldn't...well damn I usually pick up my phone." I heard the all too familiar message go off for the nine hundredth time today.
I closed my phone and opened a new text message.
To: Maggie Pickin
From: John Quinn
Subject: Nothing
Maggie come on, please answer, if it was wrong of me to say that at that kind of time, if it was too fast just tell me! We can be friends or something; we don't have to be anything more. Please answer.
-John.
If that failed again, like I knew it would. I was going to go look for Maggie wherever I could. And preferably ask one of her friends where she was. Which reminded me, I only knew where Kraze lived, so I had no choice but to go and visit Kraze, unless I wanted to try and find out where her other friends lived.
And with that I grabbed my car keys and drove off to down to Devil's Cove.
By the time I had reached Kraze's house the sky was turning dark and there only bits and pieces of light. It was a peaceful night tonight.
Locking my truck I shoved the keys back into my pocket and ran up the steps to Kraze's house. I had only knocked twice when he answered.
"Hell-Oh it's you, John right?" Kraze asked. I was about to answer when I saw his hair, it was styled up girlish, the red bangs were pulled back with about half of the rest of his hair and tied up in the back, the long pieces of his hair still laid down on his shoulders though.
"What's up with your hair, are you...are you going gay?" I asked. Kraze with his red contact eyes glared at me.
"You know what; I'm going to shut this door on your face and save you from having a bullet shot through you. And no I am not; Maggie came over and did my hair for fun." Kraze growled at me.
"Sorry dude it's just I've never seen that on a guy, and did you say Maggie did that?" I asked. Kraze rested on the door frame, crossed his arms and looked at me sceptically.
"Yeah, why? I love anything she does, if Maggie does it, it's cool." Kraze answered me. I nodded and then pushed past him into his house.
"When exactly did she come over?" Kraze raised his eyebrows at me.
"Uh three days ago, and last night why?" I nodded and then sat down on his couch, making myself at home without his permission.
"Because Maggie's been missing, or at least for me she has. She hasn't been answering my calls or texts." I proclaimed. Kraze sat down beside me and cracked open a beer, he handed me one.
"Well she wouldn't do that for no reason, so what'd you do?" Kraze asked. I leaned back into his couch and gulped down some beer.
"I told her I might like her, more than a friend." I answered him. Kraze whistled.
