This is my first vegan post on Instagram. All my posts on IG has specific hashtags so I can easily search my photos. I came up with #vegannako to keep track of all my vegan posts. Vegan na ako means "I am now a vegan." in Tagalog.

I decided to go vegan three weeks ago. I was obsessed with Starbucks ricotta cheesecake and tiramusu. Now I enjoy this yummy sweet rice cake.

I deleted hundreds of non-vegan photos on my IG. I was ambivalent about deleting my food trip photos in Italy. My mom and I feasted on a lot of pasta, cheese and gelato. Those are fun memories with Mama but then since becoming vegan, those photos now remind me of my ignorance and guilt.

I deleted photos of my dairy addiction. Hundred of Starbucks frap photos were on my IG. It took a lot of work but it was my way of repenting. Deleting those photos meant helping IG users not to get fun and entertainment from photos of harmful animal products.
