I'm afraid I may never see you again.
I'm fearful that you won't see the morning light...
Will you please open your eyes one last time?
The darkness is creeping in,
sinking its claws into your skin staining it red.
Blood is everywhere...
Your eyes are closing as the light fades out as the doctor announces you dead.
Will you please open your eyes one last time?
I never got the chance to say bye,
Or apologise for my white lie.
I'm worried you'll forget me,
frightened I'll be alone once again.
Can you open your eyes one last time and let me say goodbye?
For me, will you please open your eyes one last time?
So I can remember you,
when I look at the sky and reminisce over our time.
