Today was the day. The day. You got to go to VidCon!

You've been waiting nearly ages to go to VidCon, and your parents finally gave in and decided you could go. And since you were 17, you could be on your own. You decided maybe you could maybe friends since your friends had no interest in VidCon or YouTubers in general.

You're on your car ride from unpredictable Michigan, to nice and sunny California, since your parents were too cheap to take a plane ride. Most of the car ride was watching YouTubers, fixing the hotspot, watching YouTubers, checking Twitter, fixing the hotspot again, going to hotels to sleep, and repeat.

It took about two days until you got to California, and first thing you and your parents did was go to the hotel. Being an only child, there were only two beds in the hotel; one for you, and one for your parents.

"Okay, Y/N, your mom and I are going to go and rent a car and when we get back we will drop you off at VidCon since right now it's only 10:39 AM," your dad shouted as he and your mom walked out of the door waving goodbye.

You grabbed out your laptop and searched all of your favorite YouTubers and when they'd have pannels, meet and greets, interviews, and shows on the stage. Obviously, you checked danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil first. They were going to do a meet and greet at 4:00 PM today, so you wanted to be there at a good time before the lines got too packed.

When you put all of the times in your phone for the events happening today, you decided to get dressed. You put on your purple AmazingPhil and danisnotonfire shirt on, along with your Official Phandom Member wristband - which you were #0187 -, you packed your llama hat in case it got cold at any time or you just wanted to wear it, your black skinny jeans, and a pair of red Converse. You brushed through your hair and decided you should straighten it, since you liked it straight rather than wavy/curly. And for makeup you simply put on mascara and thin eye liner.

When you got finished gathering everything, your parents got back from renting a car.

"Alright, honey, let's drop you off at VidCon, and call us when you want us to pick you up," your dad said as you guys walked out of the hotel and into the car.

"Alright dad, thank you so much again!" you said as you hugged your dad before entering the back seat of the blue Ford Focus.

"You deserved it for behaving and getting good grades, plus your chores," you dad said with a proud smile.

It took about 15 minutes to get to the Anaheim Convention Center, due to mild traffic and the lengthy roads you had to take to get here. Thankfully you didn't have any hotels that were further away, for transportation and time saving purposes.

"Okay, give us a call when you wish to be picked up!" your mom called out of the car.

"Alright, I will!" you said as you walked off.

Once you checked into the center, you walked off to where the heart of the whole convention was. You were in complete awe, and on the urge of fangirling. You remembered to check your phone to see what time it was, and it was 11:30 AM. You decided to see if the line for Dan and Phil's meet and greet was forming, and it wasn't, so you decided to take a look around and wait until the line was about to start forming.

*1 hour later*

You were just walking around being your socially awkward self around the whole convention. Then you came back to the meet and greet area and saw that the lines literally just started forming, so you went into line as quickly as you could. You were like the 50th person in line, which made you feel pretty lucky. And the second best thing was there were two girls in front of you.
