"Rise and shine, motherfucker, it's a brand new day!" Dan said as he shook you awake.

"Mmmmmn," you groaned as you pulled the blankets over your face.

"Oh come on, Y/N! It's Christmas Eve!" Dan said cheerfully.

You sprung up, nearly colliding you and Dan's heads.

"WELL JESUS CHRIST," Dan said as he intensely breathed.

"Haha, oops," you said as you giggled a little. "Wait...Dan," you said as you stared at Dan.

"Yes?" Dan said as he sat on the bed.

"How the hell did you get into my apartment?" you asked as a dark red blush appeared on Dan's cheeks.

"You gave me a key, remember?" Dan said as he playfully pushed your arm.

"Yeah, for emergencies only!" you said as you face palmed. "Why are you here anyways?"

Dan gasped and grabbed his heart dramatically. "You forgot?!"

You blink a couple of times while looking at Dan cluelessly.

Dan rolls his eyes. "We're going to a party?" Dan tries to remind you.

Then a spark goes off in your head. "OH RIGHT I FORGOT," you say loudly.

Dan laughs and just pulls you into a hug, unexpectedly.

"Want to go shopping around stores before we actually go to the party?" Dan asks you as he let's go of you and looks into your eyes.

"Yeah, I'd like that," you say as you smile and push Dan out of the room so you can get yourself ready.

When you're dressed in your most festive Christmas jumper that was red and had Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer on it with a Santa hat on it, you head into the living room. You also had your favourite pair of black skinny jeans on, a pair of red converse, and your hair was straightened.

"You fix up nicely," Dan says as he smirks at you.

"Oh shush up," you say as you roll your eyes and give him a warm smile. "But thank you."

Dan chuckles slightly and goes up to you and puts his arm around you. "Where shall we go?"

"Target, they have everything there," you say as you drag Dan out the door.

When you get outside, you notice that you forgot to wear a coat, so the cold winter air strikes you instantly. Dan sees your shivering so he, again, puts his arm armour you.

"Should we get a taxi?" Dan asks you as he holds you close.

You just nod quickly and Dan then catches a taxi for you.

You climb into the taxi first, then Dan does after and shuts the door.

"Hello, where to?" the taxi driver asks.

"The nearest Target, please," Dan says politely.

The taxi driver then starts driving and Dan sits closer to you.

"Hehe, thank you, Dan," you say in a quiet voice.

"You're welcome," Dan says as he then looks out the window to see we have arrived at Target.

The taxi driver comes to a halt in front of the Target and Dan pays him and thanks him. Once the taxi driver drives off, you two walk into the store.
