You wake up to your mother violently shaking your shoulder.
"SWEETHEART I JUST SAW THE EMAIL!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT TEACHER RECOMMENDED YOU?! OH THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!"
You roll over and groan, you had never been a morning person and waking up to yelling wasn't exactly helping your regular morning mood.
"Yeah, I wanna go. Do you know when it starts?"
"Sure do! It says you can start tomorrow if you send in an email today! And lucky for you I already typed one out for you!" You look at her with disbelief, first off they would let you in just like that?! And second of all, she pre typed an email?!
"Yeah sure I'll send in the email today to go tomorrow sound good?"
"Alright, but I wanted to spend some mother daughter time together! I know a lot of things have happened. And we're both hurting but we need to start to move on, okay?"
You smiled, you loved your mother's positivity.
"Sounds good, I'll be down in a few."
She smiled and nods her head. You got out of bed and got dressed. You were excited, you loved spending time out. Especially in a new town.
*TIME SKIP TO WHEN YOUR OUT WITH YOUR MOM*
"What about school supplies? They already sent you the uniform, correct?"
"Yeah, they sent me the uniform but I do need some school supplies."
Your mom nodded and you guys walked into a store with pencil cases, dry erase boards, ETC.
"Oh sweetheart, I need to go take a call you'll be okay in here for a while right?" You nodded your head in response.
You continued to walk around until you ran into a large figure, causing you to fall over. You look up to see Mezo Shoji, the boy you had meet last night.
"Oh my- I'm so sorry are you okay?"
"Uhm.... yeah! Are you... okay?"
He seemed stunned and embarrassed.
"Mhm, I'm fine."
He nodded and held out one of his many arms so he could help you up, you took it and brushed yourself off.
"So, What are you doing in here (Y/N)?"
"Oh, uhm just looking for some supplies, I'm starting at U.A hero course tomorrow, how about you?"
"Oh, I go to U.A hero course too, um, just looking for some extra pencils, I ran out."
You smiled and nodded your head. You two talked for a little and found out you guys have a lot in common! You got a text from your mom saying she had an urgent meeting, and you can get a ride or take the bus. You let out a loud sigh and shoved your phone back in your pocket.
"Are you okay, (Y/N)?"
"Yeah... my mom just left me here at the mall."
"Oh, well I can walk you home if you want."
You looked up at him, and just a little you could see he was blushing through his mask. You blushed as well.
"Okay... thanks a bunch!"
He nodded his head and you two walked home together, because you lived so close you guys were going on the same direction.
"Thanks again for walking me home."
You say as the two of you approach your house.
He blushes a little.
"It's no fuss, really, but hey, we should walk to school together, we both go to U.A after all."
You looked at him, you could see the smallest smile from underneath his mask, witch made you blush 10,000,000 shade of pink.
"Yeah! But in that case, we should trade phone numbers."
"Oh! Uhm.. yeah!"
He handed you his phone and you handed him yours, he sent you a text to make sure it's the right number.

He smiled and you did the same.
"Goodbye, Shoji!"
When you started to walk away you felt a large hand gently grab your wrist.
"Please, you can call me Mezo."
You looked at him and nodded
"Goodbye, Mezo."
You gave him one last smile, and walked into your house. You smiled as you shut the door and you skipped up the stairs. You studied, played a few games, read, and then got into your pajamas. Before you turned off your light your phone vibrated on your nightstand. You picked it up and read the message that popped up on your screen.

You had the dorkiest grin as you set your phone down. Maybe life didn't hate you as much as you thought it did.
