Quinn's pov

Auradon was quiet as ever. Not a single laugh, scooter, or marching band was heard walking in. I stared at my phone, feeling very uneasy. Forty-seven messages and neither Romeo, Gene, or Sutton had picked up to tell me they were fine. I looked up from my phone, ready to alert everyone else when I saw the piles of bodies slumped over snoring.

" Oh my god," I whispered to myself, fighting the tears and placing my phone away. Audrey indeed had outdone herself when it came to being evil.

" They're asleep. Everyone." Mal spoke before looking down to her phone in distress just as I had done." I can't get Ben."

" Or Dizzy or Doug." Evie chimed in.

Carlos groaned, looking up to the three." Or Jane."

Jay turned to me, hoping to have some good news, but I shook my head, biting down the fear in her head. Sutton could be anywhere. He could not be answering because he was hurt. I bit down my final words." The signal's out."

" I'm sure Romeo and Gene got to Sutton." Allie comforted, but I couldn't believe it. I couldn't imagine the little boy hurt or asleep. He was my responsibility, and I felt as if I already failed him by bringing him into danger. Why would I even leave Auradon? Why didn't I just take him with me?

" Is that Auradon Prep ?" I heard Celia asked and looked up, seeing the little girl's eyes widen.

" Yeah. When everybody wakes up, you're going to love it." Carlos replied, smiling at her reaction. I went back on my phone trying to get another call out, but kept seeing the zero bar notification over and over again." He's going to be okay."

I looked up to Carlos, wanting to believe him, but it was just so hard." What if he's not ?"

" He's a smart kid, Quinn."

Carlos rubbed my back, giving me a hopeful smile. I smiled back, knowing I could always count on Carlos to cheer me up. He always knew how to bring a smile onto people's faces or brighten someone's day.

" I believe I deserve some compensation." I heard and turned watching Harry grab someone's wallet and steal money already." for my muscles, my wile, and my role in this endeavor."

I snatched the money out his hand before glaring at his actions." You do. You're welcome here without guards on your tail."

" Think I'm scared of you, Quinn?"

" You will be soon," I warned, feeling Jay's arms wrap around my waist, pulling me back. I placed the money back into the person's wallet before looking to Jay, annoyed.

" Dude !" Carlos called out, running over to the dog, licking some fruit from a person's hand." Dude, really?"

" What? It wasn't me, I swear." Dude pleaded, but we all tilted our heads knowing better." Okay. It was me."

" Dude, do you know what happened here?" I questioned.

" Audrey showed up. She put everybody to sleep."

" Everyone ?" I quaked

" And then she turned some of them too-"
