Quinn's pov

" Sutton. Don't ruin your outfit."

The happy little boy smiled up at me stopping from chasing the butterfly. I smiled back happy that I would see that smile for the rest of my life. Jay wrapped his arm around me and I turned smiling knowing today was going to be a good day. After the whole battle, we were given two days before deciding to throw Mal and Ben an engagement party.

Audrey had woken up and on better spirits smiled a lot and slowly began to move on. Uma had gone back to the isle and sadly along with her went Celia, Harry, and Gil. I didn't blame them from wanting to go back. I understood how the Isle life was and in no shape should they be left behind without a leader. Uma would make a great leader and I know they would have the best they could get.

I just still didn't want them to be alone eating scraps and paying for their parents mistakes. I heard laughter to my side and smiled at the sight of Allie, Gene, and Romeo. They were all okay and now didn't have to worry about sleeping, being stone, or even meeting their parent's enemy.

" There they are." Evie spoke and I turned watching Mal and Ben come from the tunnel hand and hand with a smile.

Sutton jumped in front of us for a view and soon Jay held the boy in his arms so he could see Mal and Ben better. They walked up the stairs waving to the people before standing on the balcony with giddy smiled.

" Lady Mal and I wanna thank you for celebrating our engagement with us today." Ben spoke looking over to his wife to be." I couldn't be prouder or happier to call you my Queen. So...raise your glasses to our future queen of Auradon. To our Queen of Auradon."

" To our Queen of Auradon !" The crowd cheered sipping on their drinks. I smiled sipping on the fruity drink and hearing Sutton giggle in my ear from all the happiness.

" Speech, Your Special-ness." Carlos teased right next to is bowing down.

" Speech, Your Fancy One." Jay taunted holding his drink high in the air along with Sutton.

Mal smiled walking closer to the edge of the balcony to give a speech when she looked to the distance and when I followed her gaze, I realized it had landed on the isle.

" I can't." She breathed hearing the multiple gasp around us. Evie quickly turned around speechless, but all I could do was shrug my shoulders looking back to the nervous Mal." I can't be Queen of Auradon. We made a decision...to close the barrier forever."

The crowd had gasped again and I couldn't help myself to gasp too only for the cause of her telling the truth to the people. It was a big step and either the people could hate her or the isle children would hate her.

" And it was my idea. But it's wrong. I've learned...that you can't live in fear...because it doesn't actually protect you from anything. You never know where the bad is gonna come from. And you never know where the heroes are gonna come from either. Without Uma and her pirates, Auradon would be gone. And without Hades...my father."

" Audrey would be gone.We are all capable of good and bad, no matter which side of the barrier we come from. And that's why I can't be Queen of just Auradon." She spoke turning to Ben." I have to be Queen of the Isle, too. And it's time that we take the barrier down forever."
