Quinn's pov

" Oh ! Cake !"

Sutton raced pass my side moving the stool chair a bit over before climbing up and gleaming  at the half eaten cake in front of him. I laughed grabbing a cake and near by knife cutting a big slice for him.

" Here you go !"

Sutton laughed grabbing the biggest fork" Thank you." He said stabbing the cake and eating the sprinkles and frosting first.

" He's cute." Uma said taking a seat by the end of the table and grabbing a slice herself.

I nodded," He is." I agreed running my hands through his soft blonde hair.

" That was a really good idea to check Audrey's room." Mal spoke walking over to Uma with a small yet noticeable smile." Now, we know that we're on the right track. Thank you."

Uma paused with a frown." Is there an insult in there that I missed ?" She questioned, but Mal shook her head.

" Just...I wanted to thank you. You didn't have to actually help, but you did."

" I smell a friendship." I teased.

Uma rolled her eyes," Can it Hearts." She said going to take a bite of the came and smiled." I don't know whose birthday it is, but I want this cake."

" I love cake." Sutton giggled

" I can see. It's on your nose." I laughed grabbing a soft napkin and wiping his cheeks and nose.

He moved over to the side," Is Uncle Gene gonna be okay ?" He asked and I turned to see Allie still desperately trying to get Gene onto the couch.

" Yeah just like you are." I promised seeing the slight fear in his eyes. I kissed the side of his head before walking to Allie and taking Gene's feet in my hands." I think he needs to lay off Mrs. Potts homemade cupcakes."

" Tell me about it !" Allie huffed covering him with a blanket." I really hope he wakes up."

" He will and Romeo will unstone too. Mal has a plan and her plans always works." I said looking back to her." Everything is going to go back to normal. The barrier will be open for more kids to come, Audrey will be back to normal, and Auradon will awaken."

" I believe you. I just know you're rambling right now because you miss, Jay." She hinted and I slowly nodded since she was in fact right.

" I almost lost Sutton. I don't want to almost lose him too." I said looking down to the ring on my finger," He's my fiancé."

" You're husband by the end of this week." She teased causing little butterflies in my stomach. I almost forgot about the wedding with everything else going on in my life. I smiled at her when the sound of boards hitting the window caught my attention.

" We're trapped!" Celia shouted.

" Sutton get over here !" I yelled watching the scared little boy race over along with Uma and Mal.

" I'm scared."

" It's okay. I got you." I promised hearing more footsteps and seeing Evie and Doug ran over from the other room confused
