Jay's pov

One year later

" Daddy ? Daddy wake up."

I questioned the voice cracking one eye open to see through the hallway light coming through the door, someone had called me. I opened both eyes noticing Sutton with his stuff raccoon's a bit scared and tear stained cheeks. Instantly, I stood up worried for wounds only to see he was fine.

" What's wrong, buddy ?"

" I got a bad dream." He whispered rubbing his eyes.

I smiled nodding my head and picked him up not wanting to wake Quinn since it was already tough for her to get some sleep. Sutton wrapped his arms around my neck and squeezed me while I walked us to the kitchen knowing it was his favorite place to go.  I turned on the lights setting him on the counter and reached in the freezer for his favorite ice cream.

" Now remember. We don't tell Quinn we had ice cream at midnight." I said making him giggle and take a big chunk of of the ice cream." Now, what has you up ?"

He looked down sadly," I'm scared for school."

I nodded my head understanding his worried for the next day. Tomorrow he would be heading to Auradon Elementary school starting his first day in Kindergarten along with other Auradon students and some Isle kids.

" What are you scared about ?"

" What if I'm not smart enough to be in school ?" He whispered," All the other kids went to pre-school. I been to nowhere and what if Mommy needs me while i'm in school ? I wanna be there for her."

" Well, first. You are very smart, Sutton." I encouraged." You know how to do a lot of things and just because some went to Pre-school means nothing. Secondly, I promise when Quinn goes to the hospital, we'll pick you up so you can be with us."

" I'm still nervous. I don't know what school is."

" Well, school is fun." I laughed." You learn about different colors, different animals, you learn math and how to solve things. The best part is reading stories. My favorite one was Tarzan."

Sutton nodded his head having a smile on his face," It doesn't sound too bad."

" It's not. Just know if you're uncomfortable you can always ask your teacher to call us." I said seeing he was done with his ice cream and feeling a lot better." Are you ready to head to bed ?"

" Yeah." He chuckled placing his spoon in the sink and holding his arms out for me.

I smiled taking my son into my arms and walked back down the halls to his room. He laughed diving into the bed while I pulled on the comforter tucking him in.

" I'll put the tv on, but only for an hour." I said setting the timer and letting him watch Boss Baby.

" I love you so much, Daddy."

" I love you more, Kid." I said kissing his forehead and turning off the light," Go to bed or I'll sell all your toys."

I closed the door hearing Sutton's giggles and smiled myself noticing a light coming from the end of the hallway. I frowned walking to the door way only to see Quinn leaning against the crib looking around the nursery.

" Everything okay ?"

She turned with a smile, but my eyes always focused on her bump that carried our daughter. I couldn't believe in less than two weeks Sutton would be a big brother and we would be taking care of a newborn baby. My daughter was going to be here.

" She kept kicking me so I woke up and made my way here." She explained fixing one of the teddy bears on the nightstand." Is Sutton okay ?"

I nodded walking over," He's nervous about school. Gave him a bit of a pep talk."

" And ice cream ?" She hinted causing me to laugh.

" It helps." I defended looking over to her bump again and placing my hand over it feeling her kick away." I can't believe we're having a girl."

" You sound nervous." She chuckled.

" Cause I am." I admitted taking a deep breath." With Sutton, it's easy. He's sweet and caring. That's my little girl. I have to protect her from boys and worry boys will break her heart and-"

" You're being such a Dad." She chuckled squeezing my hand." Janessa is going to love you so much."

I smiled at the name coming up with it myself. I practically begged Quinn to let me name the baby once we found out it was going to be a girl and it was better since Sutton wanted to name the baby Racoonie. I stared back at Quinn seeing how beautiful she was.

" Thank you."

She glanced up from her bump confused," For what ?" She asked.

" All of this." I stated." Loving me. Dating me. Putting up with me. Marrying me. Having a son with me and now a daughter. You gave me a family and now it's expanding. I mean Quinn, we're gonna be parents to a little boy and girl in two weeks."

" Oh." She gasped standing up straight before laughing." Um....more like today."

" What ?"

" My water just broke." She answered and when I looked to her sweatpants I could see they were wet." Jay, you look like you're about to faint."

" I'm not." I whispered clearing my voice." I'm good."

" Jay." She laughed taking my face into her hands." Everything is going to be okay and I understand you're nervous, but I really need you right now. Okay. We're gonna have a baby."

" We're gonna have a baby." I repeated feeling my smile grow wider." We're gonna have a baby."
