"Why don't you talk?"
"Why aren't you sitting with people you know?"
"Do you even have any friends?"

This guy is asking way too many questions that it's getting quite annoying.

"Or maybe...Are you a robot?!"

"NO!"

The whole cafeteria went silent and all eyes were on me. I felt my cheeks burn like lava from embarrassment. I quickly sat down in my seat trying to hide myself from the whole cafeteria.

"Oh so she does speak"

"Of course I do moron"

He started to laugh at me. His laugh sounded enchanting which made me feel butterflies in my stomach. All I could do was look at him and smile with him too.

"You should smile more"

"Why are you still talking to me?"

"I just want to be your friend"

"I already have friends"

"Where are they at then?"

"I-I don't know"

"Let me be your friend"

"Fine"

"Wait....Really?!"

I just said yeah because I didn't want him to be bothering me anymore. I find people like him annoying but it's the good type of annoying. I soon realized that we had some classes together which soon would be a problem because each time I tried to focus on the lesson he would be tapping my shoulders just to ask me stupid questions.

It's already been a couple a days and it turns out that my friend group knows who he is and are really good friends with him too. There's only one girl I would trust in this friend group and that would be Lisa. In the last couple of days she has introduced me to new things like anime, kpop, and some other things that I never knew of.

"Do you know what his name is?"

Lisa looks at me in confusion like if I was trying to speak to her in alien or something.

"You don't know his name after all this time?!"

"He never told me and I never thought of asking either"

"Just ask him when you see him in class"

"NO!"

"...no?"

"Aghhh..finne...I'll ask him next period"

I feel somewhat defeated.

1:38 p.m.

This is my last class of the day and I'm still debating on whether I should ask him or not. School is almost over too so i'll need to make a decision soon. He recently asked to go to the bathroom so he should be back at any moment.

..a few minutes later

*Tap*Tap*

I feel someone tapping my shoulder so I turned around and of course it's him.

"Did you miss me?!"

My brain no longer can function. His smile is too bright and it hurts my heart...in a good way.

"You only went to the bathroom. You were gonna have to come back eventually"

He puts his hand behind his neck and smiles brightly again

"Hehe I guess you're right"

He sits down and pulls out his phone since the bell is about to ring anyway and I think the teacher is just as ready to leave this place since all they are doing is stare at the clock.

"Hey...do you have a phone?"

He's asking if I got a phone but the sad truth is that I don't which is kind of embarrassing but my parents won't allow me to have one until the time is right.

"No but I should be getting one soon for my birthday"

"Aww man, I was hoping we'd get to talk after school too"

He starts to take his notebook and piece of paper and starts to write on it. I watch him tear out a page and hand it over to me.

"Here..it's my phone number"

I look at the piece of paper with his phone number on it...and his name next to it.

I got his name..

"But I just said I didn't have a phone"

"Well when you do get one I know I'll be the first person you talk to."

He stopped paying attention to me and went back onto his phone to play his video games and I just sat there watching him.

*Ding*Ding*

"Class is dismissed. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your day" the teacher says as he's gathering his things to leave.

All the kids in the classroom rush out the class to catch the bus early and find a seat while others stay behind and stay for after school activities...I'm lucky that I don't have to go through that type of hell. My Dad is able to pick me up since he always passes the school to get to his other job.

"Soo I'll see you on Monday?"

"Yup"

"Alright then. See ya later Celine I gotta catch the bus before all the spots get full"

"Okay...bye"

I wave to him as he's running past the packed hallway of kids and through the schools exit doors.

I hope he makes it..

I turn around and start to make my way to the school entrance where my Dad always waits. As i'm walking I can feel the piece of paper in my pocket. I take it out to have a good look at it. I can't believe I was stressing to ask for his name. His name fits him so well.
