I Am

Monday Morning

Today was picture day so they had students of each grade take pictures for the yearbook. I just wore a black t-shirt with some jeans and that's it. I didn't really style my hair since it was kind of short.

I saw Lisa and the rest of the friend group waiting in line to get their picture taken. I went up to them to say hello and to also get line.

Celine: "Hey guys!"

Lisa: "Yay! You're finally here I thought you would never show up"

Chloe and Jasmine didn't really say anything. Not even a hello or anything. I know they didn't like me but I just wish they'd at least notice my presence.

Then we heard some random teacher who wanted to get all of the students attention to say something.

"Okay guys listen up, If you are done taking your pictures please go take a seat on the bleachers or walk around the gym"

Cool. So we're gonna miss a couple of minutes of class for this. I honestly don't mind. I actually enjoy doing nothing.

Lisa: "Hell yeah..I hate English anyway"

Jasmine: "Haha..same! Why does Miss Parker have to be so bossy"

Chloe: "Exactly it's not like we're her dogs"

I was listening to them talking about this English teacher they hated so much but I was honestly glad that I didn't end up with that English teacher because I just know I would be in hell.

A FEW MINUTES LATER~

Jasmine: "Is everyone done taking their photos?"

Lisa: "No hold up. Celine is not done taking hers yet."

Chloe: "I mean we could just wait for you guys over there at the bleachers."

Lisa: "Yeah sure go ahead."

The photographer was fixing my hair and telling me to give them a big smile but I'll be honest I never do since I'm insecure of my teeth because they're a bit crooked so I just smile without showing my teeth.

"Okay! You're all done sweetheart...Next!"

I saw the others leave but Lisa stood there waiting for me. I kinda wanted to bring up the conversation of yesterday. We were on our way to the bleachers but as soon as I wanted to talk, Jasmine and Chloe were signaling to come to them.

When we got there we decided to sit one bleacher ahead of them so we would be looking up at them. I didn't like that they were right behind me but Lisa was there so I didn't really care.

Lisa: "I'm gonna use the bathroom real quick..does anyone wanna go?"

Jasmine: "No we're good"

Lisa: "Okay....Celine?"

Celine: " No...I'm good as well"

Soon I'll come to realize that I should've just went with her. Maybe things would've been different. But I guess things happen for a reason.

Jasmine: "Hey Celine have you heard about Azrael yet?"

I was about to space out but Jasmine was talking to me and I couldn't just ignore her. So I turn around to look at her.

Celine: "Um..No...Did something happen to him?"

Chloe: "Actually yes..look over there"

Chloe pointed all the way to the corner of the gym. I was trying to look through all the kids that were in that area and there he was. It was him. With some girl. A girl I didn't know. It was probably that Naomi girl that Chloe was talking about. They looked like they were holding hands and smiling. They just looked very happy.
