Chapter 9 - The Dolorous Heart

When we went out of the café, Granger stopped us and asked:

"Wait, how long does it take to get to the enchanted forest?"

"Probably around twenty kilometers and it would probably take us a day walking," Alucard said.

"What?" Granger said shocked! "Is there a faster way to get there?"

Looking around, I saw a Kalesa, (and open carriage that could carry up to four people) and said:

"I think I have an idea. See that calesa over there, I can pull it and we could get there in less than five minutes!"

"What are you gonna do? Pull it and run as fast as you can?" Alucaed asked.

"Precisely!" I replied.

"But how is that going to take us there faster?" Granger asked.

"Just wait and see!" I replied.

We went to the carriage and I went in front, to pull it. Alucard, Granger, and Angela took their seats.

"You guys ready?" I said.

They all nodded and I started by walking a few steps forward and started to run. As I gain speed it is now time for me to use my skill.

"Guys, hold on tight! This night be a bit too fast!"

"Is this thing already fast for you?" Granger asked.

"It's about to get faster just hold on or you'll fall! Trust me." I said as they all held on the kalesa. I started to use Chrono dash which made me run at 60 kilometers per hour, leading us to the site at ten minutes. When we reached the site, I slowed down a bit instead of stopping immediately, because of Newton's second law.

"Woah! That's really fast! I can't believe you can run that fast" Alucard said panting, overwhelmed of what he just experienced.

I looked around the place. I couldn't believe it! This was the ruins of my former home.

"This place is beautiful!" Angela said."

"Believe me, It's much beautiful when this place was still up and going," I replied.

"Let's search around the place and find clues on why did the abyss destroyed this forest," Granger said.

"Let's start with Harith's house! I want to see what it looks like." Alucard said.

"Then follow me."

We continued to walk until we reached my house.

"I can't believe it's still standing! I could remember that the fire consumed it!" I said.

We went in and found the house to be completely intact, even in the inside. My eyes suddenly started leaking tears as memories of the past flashed back in my mind.

"How could this be? It's like the house wasn't burned at all!" I said.

"The house is made with a special type of wood, which is fire resistant." Angela answered as she examines the tree on which the house is built.

"Well, If your house wasn't burned, then your stuff is probably here too!" Alucard said.

"Let's see... I have a special key which activates the most door to the most protected treasure of the Leonins." I said. And I went to the room. Searching for the so-called key. And there it is. I presented it to all of them.

"Is that an instrument case?" Alucard asked. "And how is that the key to the most protected treasure of the Leonins?"

"Just trust me and follow me." I replied. We went out of my house and went to another memorable place - The Sakura Gardens. we walked along the hill and reached the beautiful landmark on which I first and last met Nana.
