"Why are you doing this?!"

A man dressed in a beautiful gold and red suit with a red mask concealing his identity was on top of the roofs of his beloved city. People called him Prince Charging due to his attire combined with his electrical powers.

For now he was slightly beaten but okay, not wanting to dare give up the chase for his mortal enemy. The Timer.

Both men were panting in an effort to catch their breath from running across the city.

"Why must you be a villain?!" The sharply dressed hero yelled at the villain. "You could use your powers for good! So why don't you?!"

"Because I'm nothing like you!" The Timer snapped back.

The sudden shouting from the usually quiet man took Prince Charging by surprise.

'Like me?' He thought to himself, slowly taking a small step towards the villain.

This made The Timer take a step back about the same size. It was obvious he was just as frightened as anyone else would be in this situation. But he never knew of Prince Charging's kind side, having only seen him in a fighting mood around him. He had already been beaten up enough prior to this scene and didn't feel like letting the hero land another painful punch.

"What does being like me have anything to do with this?" The hero asked.

That was a good question. What did it have to do with any of this?

The Timer had every oppurtunity to be a hero. Even Prince Charging had offered him the chance in the beginning of their rivalry, but everytime he refused and kept his crime spree fresh. Nothing should have been different at that moment but it was.

"I-I don't know. You're just so...so good. And I'm nothing like that. I-I'll never be anything like that I-I just..."

In an instant, The Timer fell to his knees in a fit of sobs. It was an odd scene for the hero to look at. Never in his life did he think that The Timer had any real emotions what with his line or work.

This was rather baffling.

Prince Charging slowly made his way over to the purple cladded villain, standing just before him as he continued to sob. He sighed and knelt down next to the villain, waiting until the sounds of crying began to soften.

"M-my boyfriend always says I-I could be good if I-I tried," The Timer stammered.

"Boyfriend?"

Prince Charging raised an eyebrow. 'How can a villain have a boyfriend?'

"Y-yeah. I-I've felt shitty about myself for s-so long but he.....he always sees the good in me. Somehow."

"He sounds like a good man."

The prince-like hero sat down next to his arch nemesis. It was so tiring to fight one person almost all the time. Maybe a nice break with a bit of talking would be okay just this once. No jail. No battle. Who knows, this could be what gets The Timer to stop his criminal ways.

"I actually have a boyfriend as well," Prince Charging admitted.

The Timer looked up at at Prince Charging, his eyes slightly puffy with a hint of red from crying. His expression showed an obvious confusion that the egotistical hero he always fought actually had a boyfriend. Also that he was gay. That was a big surprise too.

"Oh yeah? What's he like?"

The hero scoffed and shook his head in disbelief. Was he really going to expose part of his personal life to this villain? Well it was obviously reckless but, he felt somewhat relaxed with him. It was extremely odd.
