14 - You Need A Cold Shower

Brooke woke up to an empty bed, she could have sworn he was here when she went to sleep and was getting feelings of deja vu.

Sighing, she rolled out of bed, pulling on Xavier's hoodie. She couldn't help but smile as his scent washed over her.

As she walked into the kitchen she saw Xavier sitting at the table with his head resting on his arms.

"Morning" Brooke smiled causing Xavier to look up. A small gasp left her lips as she abandoned getting a coffee.

He had scratch marks down his cheek as well as a bust lip. From the dark circles in see his eyes like he didn't get any sleep, Brooke sighed as she sat on his knee, she gently brushed his lip with her thumb causing him to wince.

"Xav what happened?" She asked softly

"You had another nightmare" he sighed pulling Brooke into his arms "I tried to wake you up but you were too deep in it and wouldn't wake up. You thought I was him and was fighting back"

"Fuck Xav I am so sorry" Brooke whispered kissing his forehead. She felt bad, she didn't even know she had a nightmare last night.

"Baby it's okay, he's I stayed up just holding you to make sure you settled down again but it's fine" Xavier whispered pulling her closer.

"It's not okay" she whispered as she moved so she was straddling him. "I hurt you"

"Trust me it's fine" Xavier whispered running his hand through Brooke's hair. "How long have you been having nightmares now?"

"Since it happened" Brooke mumbled not looking him in the eyes.

"Have you ever got any help?" He asked

"Nope because I always felt ashamed, everyone knows me as this fierce little badass but it's just a front. I feel if people found out I got help they would see me differently" Brooke whispered.

Brooke felt Xavier's finger lifting her chin up so she was looking into his blue eyes.

"You don't need to feel ashamed for asking for help. I'm here and always will be. Do you want me to speak to doc later and see if he can give you something to help you sleep?" Xavier asked

"Yes please" Brooke whispered, placing her hand on his cheek.

"Just so you know you will always be my fierce little badass" Xavier smirked, kissing Brooke.

He couldn't help but smile into the kiss as Brooke wrapped her arms around his neck, as she subconsciously moved her hips as she got into the kiss.

As the kiss was getting heated the kitchen door opened revealing Alex, she just smirked. Brooke squealed, burying her face into Xavier's neck, making him chuckle.

Alex laughed as he poured himself a coffee.

"Didn't mean to disturb anything" Alex smirked as he winked as he walked back out of the kitchen "don't let me stop you"

Xavier couldn't help but burst out laughing as Brooke groaned in embarrassment.

"Xav it's not funny" she mumbled hiding her face into his bare chest.

"Bumble you really think my dad cares, he knows how it it. He was the same when he was our age" Xavier smirked running his hands down her sides.

Brooke groaned as she climbed off his lap, she didn't get very far as Xavier wrapped his arms around Brooke's waist stopping her going anywhere.

"And where are you going sweetheart, I was enjoying that" he said huskily as his blue eyes darkened with lust.

"Oh I know you were big boy" Brooke giggled patting his chest as she wiggled out of his grasp "but I'm going for a smoke"

Xavier followed her like a lost puppy.

"Babe you can't just leave me like that" he groaned as her arms wrapped around her waist again.

"I think you need a cold shower" Brooke laughed as she lit her cigarette.

"You are going to be the death of me Bumble Bee" Xavier mumbled against her hair as he took her cigarettes before lighting one.

"Hey they are mine" Brooke said playfully slapping his chest.

"You leave me high and dry baby I take your cigs" Xavier winked.

Brooke couldn't help it as she felt her skin heat up, with him being half naked and flirting. She pulled Xavier's hoodie over her face to hide her blush.

"You look so damn cute when you blush" Xav smirked closing the gap between the two of them, moving the hoodie off her face "and you look so hot wearing my clothes"

"Can I go shower now?" Brooke smiled, raising her eyebrow.

"Only if I can join you?" Xavier grinned squeezing her bum making her blush again.

"In your dreams boy" Brooke laughed flipping him off making her way upstairs.

Xavier watched as Brooke walked away with a definite sway in her hips and he couldn't help but smirk.

The air around them had definitely changed since last night, she was a lot more flirty around him and was going to be the death of him.

On his way to his office he grabbed a hoodie from the laundry basket.

"So I hear you and my little girl had a bit of fun in the kitchen this morning" Craig said, folding his arms across his chest making Xavier gulp.

"I'm sorry" he panicked stumbling over his words  "I should have come to you first. It just kinda happened"

"Cray leave the poor boy alone" Alex laughed slapping Craig's shoulder.

Xavier looked at Craig who was about pissing himself with laughter

"Oh god your face" Craig breathed between laughter.

"I thought I was dead" Xavier breathed.

"Trust me we all knew it was going to happen, it was inevitable" He smirked pulling out a fifty dollar bill passing it to Alex.

"You guys made a bet?" Xavier questioned.

"Too right we did and I won" Alex smirked proudly "what can I say I know my boy. You definitely take after your old man. Me and your mom were the same"

"I don't need to know what you and mom got up to" Xavier cringed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Son I think you need to go take a cold shower and sort yourself out" Alex smirked, raising his eyebrow at his son.

"Fuck you all" Xavier mumbled as he left the office. But his father was right; he needed to take an ice cold shower right now.
