it's been a very long time since seungcheol sent me a handwritten letter. he knew so much how i loved letters especially when it's made with effort and love.

i smiled and kept the letter in the box where i kept all seungcheol's letter ever since we were little. "you liked it." i looked up to see seungcheol on the door of my clinic.

"i didn't." he slowly shut the door close with a frown. he walked towards my desk as i smiled at him.

"i loved it." his frown suddenly turned into a smile. he sat in front of me. i took something out of my bag and gave a pastel pink colored paper to him.

he chuckled. "you really are something else." "i just like giving back to people."

he smiled at me. "tomorrow's my last day of courting you. did you decide yet?" he asked nervously.

i sighed and nodded. "and i think it will be the best decision for the both of us." i gave him a reassuring smile.

he smiled back at me as he stood up and kept the letter on the pockets of his lab gown.

"meet me tomorrow. 7pm sharp. i'll send you the address." i nodded and he walked away.

before closing the door, he looked back at me "wear a comfortable outfit tomorrow, i don't want you to feel uncomfortable."

"thanks for your concern, cheol." he nodded as he closed the door.

walking back to my office, i took the letter out of my pocket and slowly opened it.

dear seungcheol,

time flew so fast. i still remember when we were kids.

heck, i still remember the times you helped me recover from my memory loss. i'm very thankful to have a guy like you.

a guy like you deserves a woman who will love you and who will accept you whole heartedly.

no one will stop you from loving a person. let your heart express what it feels. let your heart decide the perfect woman you want.

kisses, hugs and smiles are my always favorite from yours.

closing the letter, i chuckled. she really took her time to write this letter for me. i looked at the bolded letters.

my heart suddenly pounding fast in my chest. i was not ready for rejection. especially when it comes to seomin.

she was my first love.

the letter was just all about giving thanks to me. for being there for her, but as a friend.

i sighed and kept the letter on my pocket.
