Logan and Virgil have a system,

When Virgil begins shaking or noticeably stuttering and not speaking correctly, Logan will ask him "1,2, or 3"

If Virgil holds up a 3, that means that he's okay, he was just overly nervous in that moment.

If he holds up a 2, it means that he might have a panic attack but it might not be a bad one.

If he holds up a 1, however, that means that he's about to have a panic attack.

Logan will take the appropriate steps needed to either calm him down or get through the panic attack so he can calm him down afterwards.

They came up with this after the incident in Patton's room, to ensure that Logan doesn't take too long to figure it out.
