Toni POV

I walked up the steps of Pop's Choc'lit Shop nervous to tell him about where I will be working. I swallowed my fear of letting down Pop and walked in. The familiar bell rang as I stepped closer to the counter people were eating at.

"Hi Pop." I spoke loud enough for him to hear me.

"Toni, it's your day off. Did you come to eat?"

"No, I came to tell you something."

"You sound oddly serious. What is it?"

"I uh, Betty offered me a job at The Register. And I don't know, I kinda feel bad."

"Toni that is amazing why aren't you more excited, you can go and get famous. Explore the world photographing celebrities like Cole Sprouse and Vanessa Morgan. You might even shoot the cover of a movie. It's your dream. Why do you feel bad?"

"I don't want to leave you, Pop. You're like my family."

"Don't you worry about me, I'll always be here ready to give you advise. And a free burger here and there."

"Thanks Pop!" I hugged him tight.

"You're very welcome. Now go live your dream."

"I have something else I'd like advice on." I sat down.

He came over and sat next to me, "What is it?"

"Well there's this girl. I like her, but I'm not even sure I'm her type. I mean it's hard for me to tell with her and I really like her."

"Well maybe you should ask, you'll never know if you don't. She could be the one."

"Thanks Pop. You always know exactly why to say." The bell rang and we turned our heads to see who entered.

"Go get that girl." He smiled at me, "How'd you know?"

"I know you Antoinette." I got up and hugged him then walked to where Cheryl was sitting.

I saw her spot me, "Hello Pinker Bell."

I smiled at the joke, "Hi, Ariel." I sat down.

"Do you have any plans today?" She asked me.

"No, why?"

"I just need a friend. Want to go see a movie?" I was hurt a little by the friend comment but didn't show it.

"Yeah, I'd love to."

"Great! So what movie shall we watch?"

"Have you seen Aladdin?" She shook her head, "Then we shall watch that."

"I can't wait, it has to be funny with Will Smith as Genie." She clapped her hands in excitement.
She finished her food and we left for the Bijou. When we got there I told Cheryl to go get the tickets and I'll get the snacks.

"Hey can I get a Cherry Cola, a large popcorn, and Pepsi." I asked leaning on the bar. The worker nodded their head and turned to get my stuff, "Oh and the red M&Ms!"
Cheryl came back with the tickets as the lady was telling me how much it cost, "Are you a member?"

"Uh, yeah. Antoinette Topaz," I said handing her my card.

"Okay here you go, enjoy your movie."

"We will." Cheryl responded before grabbing her drink and the popcorn and walking to the theater as I followed behind her.
After the movie I took Cheryl home and went back to Pop's. I skipped up the steps and entered the door. I skipped over to Pop.

"She's amazing!"

"What's got you so happy?" He asked chuckling at my face that couldn't lose it's smile.

"Cheryl, just watching her watch a movie and laugh. Oh that laugh, it's heaven on earth." I sat down on a stool.

"Toni I don't think you've ever been this happy."

"Me neither."

"Is she high?" I heard Fangs' voice behind me.

"High on love," Pop said going back behind the counter. I turned around to see SweetPea and Fangs standing there.

"Hey guys!"

"Hi Stark."

"Call me what you will, I don't really care right now." I said jumping down.

"Let's go home Toni," Fangs said turning to the door.

"Okay, bye Pop." I put my arms around their shoulders and walked out the door.

That night in my queen sized bed under the dark purple sheets I couldn't stop thinking of my redhead beauty.
