"Cheryl please breathe." Heather repeated the procedure until after two more tries when Cheryl coughed up water.
"Cheryl!" Toni yelled running through the small forest to the river.
"Down there!" Josie pointed at a group of people near the water who were screaming. They ran to the people who seemed to be so far. When they got there Heather was holding Cheryl tightly in her arms after she had passed out.
"There's blood," Veronica pointed at Cheryl's forehead. Nobody noticed but her.
"We have to get her to the hospital." Jughead said taking her from Heather's arms. He ran through the path to his jet black Jeep followed by the others. He laid her head on Toni's lap and her legs on the other seats. He jumped in the car with Betty.
"Help! My cousin she's in the car! She fell off Sweetwater bridge!" Betty started screaming a second before she opened the doors.
"Ma'am please wait your turn." The nurse behind the counter said.
"She could be dying!" Betty yelled pointing at the door. "This is a ER!"
Toni was in the car panicking. "Cheryl!" The blood was all over Toni's hands. Some nurses and doctors came out the hospital and ran to the car Cheryl was bleeding in. "Don't touch her!" Toni said as they moved Cheryl's body and Jughead pulled her out the car.
"Toni they're helping," he said holding her back.
"She's hurt, don't do that! No!" She screamed crying trying to get to Cheryl.
"Toni it's gonna be okay." Jughead turned her around to face him not the body the doctors were taking inside. He held her shoulders, "Listen, they can save her."
"No," Toni tried to see Cheryl, "No I can't." She cried as Jughead held her in his arms and she gave in.
After a few minutes Jughead loosened his grip, "Let's go inside," he said and she only nodded.
As soon as they entered the waiting room Betty and Veronica were hugging them. Soon the doctor came out but nobody noticed, "We think she'll be okay." The doctor told Jughead who was shocked but was the only person who acknowledged his presence. "She's stable. Only family can see her." Jughead nodded and went to Betty and Toni. "Come on." They both got up and walked to the doctor.
"Um only family." He said to Toni.
"She's as much family as me." Betty said and the doctor nodded.
"Follow me." He led them to Cheryl's room. They just sat and stare at her waiting for a sign that she was still with them.
"Cheryl get up. Cheryl, Cheryl."
"JJ?" Cheryl stepped closer to the brightest light she's ever seen. It didn't hurt at all.
"Cheryl no. Don't walk to me." Jason appeared coming out of the light.
"Jason, can I please."
"No, Cheryl you have to stay. They need you."
"Jason I need you. Please."
"No Cheryl go back to her. I'll see you again. We will spend eternity with each other. But you have to go back."
"I don't want to. It hurts,"
"I know Cher. But you have to face the pain."
"JJ,"
"Cheryl it will be worth it. Live your life, for me. Live for me... Can you do that?" Cheryl nodded, "Okay. Now wake up."
