"Okay what?" Archie stood up.

"Yeah. So should the diamond be red or pink or purple?"

"First of all, Oh My God. Second of all, is that a real question? Red is the obvious choice." Toni just shook her head smiling at him. "Let's go tell Betty." Archie started to walk to the kitchen door that leads outside.

"Get back here." She pointed at the seat next to her.

"You gotta ask permission." He said coming back.

"Are you gonna ask permission?"

"Probably not. But if I did, I'd ask Hermione. Not Hiram."

"He'd reject you in a heartbeat." He smiled knowing it's true.

Cheryl walked to Juliette who was sleeping on Archie's side of the bed next to Veronica. "Hi gorgeous." She whispered as Juliette's eyes opened slowly. Forsyth crawled in between her and Veronica.

"Hi." She said taking her brother in her lap. "Where were you?"

"I had to go to the hospital." Cheryl saw her scared face and had to make her feel okay, "For my band aid. I couldn't find any at home."

"I have band aids."

"But every time I came over you were sleeping." Juliette smiled.

"Sorry. Mine are pretty."

"I bet they are. You want some food?" Cheryl asked and Forsyth immediately nodded. "Come on." She got them out the bed without waking Veronica.

"What are you so happy about?" Cheryl walked to Archie in the living room.

"Life." He answered in relief. Cheryl just gave him a confused look then went to the kitchen.

"Hey Julie." Toni said seeing the girl she calls her niece. "Where have you been?"

"Sleeping." Juliette sat next to her.

"Oh. Can I get a hug?" Juliette nodded and sat on her lap wrapping her arms around her aunt. Her eyes started to close, "Are you sleeping?" She nodded and Toni began stroking her hair.

Toni and Cheryl went home. The next day, Toni gathered Veronica, Betty, and Josie at Pop's.

"We are gathered here today because you're Cheryl's best friends. And Heather had to go home." Toni said sitting in a booth facing all three of them.

"We're your besties too." Veronica said, "Why are you so nervous."

"Because of Cher?" Betty asked slyly.

"Did Archie tell you?" She looked annoyed yet pleased.

"He's my best friend since birth. He tells me everything and when he tries not to he ends up doing anyway. I didn't even push him to tell me." Betty leaned back, "It's like with Jug. He couldn't stop smiling at me. I didn't get it then. But now, I know that smile and what it means."

"Wait what is going on?" Josie laughed.

"Um well. You're Cheryl's closet friends so I need your help. But first," she turned to Betty, "Do I have your permission."

"Forever and always." She smiled.

"Holy crap!" Josie figured it out, "You're gonna purpose!" Josie whispered only for them to hear. Veronica's face just went so happy.

"I love you!" She slid next to Toni and hugged her.

"I love you too. And I need your help picking a ring."
