Sun walked around the Castle's walls at the beginning of dawn with his hands in his pockets. The guards on the walls always wondered why he walked outside of them rather than on them, but they learned fast not to question him. He held four dice in his hands labeled "Sun," "Moon," "Heaven," and "Raymond" and constantly used his fingers to switch their positions. The Heaven dice was made of paper and dotted with green crayon. He got randomly tackled to the wall by a white-haired and eyed girl. He took out his dagger and said, "Who are you?" The girl just stared and said nothing. "Answer me." The girl wrote with a stick in the dirt, "I am River Confutatis. Moon's bombs deafened me four years ago." Sun put his dagger away. He then grabbed a stick and wrote,
"The real River was blonde and blue-eyed."
"Something revived me, but I am still deafened from Moon's bombs."
"Prove it. What is my real name?"
"Sun." The Bleached Genius dropped his stick and hugged River tightly. River blushed and hugged him also. He then grabbed the stick and wrote,
"I thought you were dead. I thought I killed another innocent. It has been on my conscious for four years, and I just killed someone else a week ago. Poor Andy, I did not mean for his death...Moon was stronger than I thought."
"I am sure he was happy dying for you."
"I do not care if he was happy dying for me, he died because of me. I must go to a meeting now. Meet me at the gates at dusk." Sun walked off and left the stick. River smiled as she watched him walk away.
Sun entered the dining room with General Darius, Raymond, and Heaven. All three were sitting while Sun just stood. "Alright, so the Moon threat is mostly sated. Right Bleached Genius?" Heaven said
"Mostly. He is not dead, but he is extremely weak. We have around three years before he could try again. I also have three years before I can talk to someone relate-able."
"Perhaps you should get a girlfriend Bleached Genius!" Raymond yelled, making the other two burst into laughter.
"I do not need companionship. I am just fine alone. Now back on subject please?"
"You know Ray, you are right. Perhaps The Bleached Genius needs a lady friend besides Heaven..." Darius chuckled. Sun kicked Darius out of his chair onto the floor.
"Is this a meeting or insulting my social preferences?"
"She would have white hair and have violet eyes to match him!" Heaven giggled. Sun sighed and left the room.
"Oh come on Bleached Genius! We are just joking around!" Raymond yelled.
"I think Darius is out cold."
"Oh good, calling him Bleached Genius is such a mouthful."
"Well, I think he is gone for the day. We will just have the meeting tomorrow." Heaven stood up and walked to her room.
Later, Sun stood in front of the gates and stared off in the sunset, dusk was always his favorite time of day. River ran up to him and hugged him tightly. Raymond was sitting atop of the walls, sneakily listening to his friend. Sun picked up a stick and wrote "King taught me how to cure deafness, but we need to be somewhere high. Let us go to the top of the Wizard's Tower." River nodded as they both walked off. Raymond jumped down and read the sentence. Is this girl deaf? He is just helping her...what a shame. I really wanted them together. Perhaps I could play cupid... Raymond grinned. He quickly yet silently ran after the two, eventually catching up to them at the top. Sun's hands glowed the brightest Raymond has ever seen them, he touched River's ears as she gasped and fell to her knees. "Hear me now?"
"Yes! I can! Oh that is how I sound!" She giggled just to hear it. Sun threw a dice labeled "Steven" off of the tower. She hugged Sun extremely tightly saying "Thank you" at least fifty times. "Sun, do you still insult yourself?" Raymond thought, Yes! He does it excessively actually.
"If you cannot solve the puzzle, beat the game, you are just a loser. I failed to prevent the Revolution from conquering Ruit, therefore killing millions including Steven. I have also let Moon do the same to others, causing the death of many. I do not deserve praise, for I am a loser." See what I mean girl? Raymond thought. "Also, Raymond. How long are you going to eavesdrop."
"Um, I was just leaving...."
"No you were not."
"Yeah I was not. But looks like you got a girlfr-"
"Do not even think about it." Sun conjured wings of light and he soared to the Castle and the wings faded. Raymond stood next to River. "So, my name is Raymond. I am a royal assassin for Queen
Heaven and personal asshole to The Bleached Genius. How do you know his real name?""I am Princess River Confutatis, well was princess of Ruit until Moon revolutionized. Were you with him when he went off to there?"
"Yes. He never told me why."
"It was to prevent the Revolution from taking over Ruit. As you probably heard, he failed. While he was attempting to prevent it, me and him worked together. Well, it was more me just hopelessly complimenting him while he worked. I am a huge fan of him since I was six. I was astonished to hear he was nineteen four years ago."
"Four years ago? He still is. And so are you. Is that white-hair thing something which prevents aging?"
"How do you know my age?"
"Well, to survive Moon I asked to be converted into a vampire. It allows me to see the ages of people. Why? I do not know." River twirled her white hair and wondered what revived her.
