River ran past the knocked out Raymond and darted to Heaven's throne. "Heaven...Sun gave me this and said he no longer served the kingdom." She handed her the locket. Heaven took it and gasped, quickly opening it. She closed it as fast as she opened it, and atear ran down her cheek.
"Sun Heaven...although not his real name, was a genius beyond imagination and led this kingdom while I could not. This kingdom shall fall into darkness without him. Where did he go?"
"I have no idea....he kind of just flew through the roof."
"What could have caused him to leave?" River looked down at the ground and obviously was faking a chuckle. "What did you do?!"
"Well...more me and Raymond. We constantly invaded his privacy. And while he was out because of his heart-attack...he took his paper die and I read his journal.." Heaven's mouth fell as the locket did so.
"I had no idea....why did he not tell me? Why did you two idiots keep invading his well-deserved privacy?" Heaven picked up the locket and wore it under her dress, before shaping her hands into fists. River stood silent before Raymond walked in with a lump on his forehead.
"Geez...Sun's not in a good mood. He just knocked me out cold for around ten minutes!"
"Good....it sounds like you deserved it. So did River. Do you not realize how doomed we are now? What if Dusk pulls a move or Moon takes over? We would be dead." Raymond and River looked down at the floor in shame. The door slammed open once more, with Dusk standing as a silhouette with the sunlight flowing through the door. His grey cape and black hair flowed in the window, his half mask gaining visibility as he looked up. He had his pockets in his blue pants, as his one visible eye glared down all three of them. "I saw an angel flying away. Is that a sign he died or he left?"
"He left because of these two idiots." Heaven's cheek had another tear race down it.
"Predictable." It did not take long for Heaven to notice Dusk had Sun's emotionless expression on as much as Sun did. Raymond threw a dagger into Dusk's heart, only to have his white leather armor fully protect him. He pulled it out of the undamaged leather. "I am opposed to murder, you know." He threw the dagger into Raymond's side and watched the Royal Assassin fall into his own blood pool. The Enigmatic Genius then blew a dart into River's chest, she fell over and whaled in extreme pain. Heaven stood there in fear and Dusk approached her. He held out his hand. "The locket, please."
"No...this is Sun's!" She kicked Dusk and he did not move.
"Sun left it, so it was River's. She gave it to you, so it is your's. Now you will give it to me so it will be mine."
"Sun left it therefore it is a treasure to me!" Dusk punched Heaven across the face, she flew as the locket was clearly visible through the neck of her shirt. He grabbed the chain by the pack and tore it off of her, as she was crying not of the punch, but of the locket. As he walked away, Raymond attempted to trip him. This only ended in the painful loss of Raymond's right hand. "Arrivederci." Dusk left the Castle with the doors wide open.
Sun stood atop of Mount Valeria, which was the edge of the kingdom. He was about to fly the opposite direction, until The Enigmatic Genius tapped his shoulder. "Dusk, why do you disturb me?"
"I know what you are going to do. But a man's last thoughts should be of home."
"My home is unknown."
"Your family."
"I am an orphan."
"As true as both of your statements be, your family is Heaven and your home is Aetherius."
"Aetherius does not allow me to do my doings. My family would allow me to be me."
"So be it. One is your family and the other is still your home. Your last thoughts should be of one." He handed him the locket and faded.
Seven years later, a guard spotted an army of about seven-hundred in all white. In the lead was one face all in Aetherius knows, except it had a scar through it's left eye. He was wearing his same clothes, except he had a grey cape. "It's The Bleached Genius!" Raymond ran to Heaven and informed her. After so, he ran to the top of the Castle and informed River. "He has an army..?" they both said. Dusty winds suddenly appeared, most believed it was Sun's doing. About sixty feet away from the village, Heaven sent a guard to listen to Sun. "Face purification." Sun said, as he stabbed the guard deep in his liver. His army charged, and Aetherius's army mimicked.
River, Raymond, and Heaven were in hysteria when they saw the battle. How could they beat the one who guided them their entire lives? "Well your the highest ranking, Raymond! Get out there and lead!" Heaven yelled.
"Hell no! I am not fighting The Bleached Genius!" River slapped both of them and said,
"We should be worrying more about our survival rather than leadership!" Raymond ran outside to see the dusty brown windows slowly turning red with Aetherian blood. Raymond ran up to one of the archers and asked, "Where is The Bleached Genius?" The archer shook his head as he got shot through his chest. Raymond was then pushed into the battle, landing on his stomach. He was then kicked into the wall, and looked up to see a man in all black with brown hair. For it was The Dark Genius, Moon Heaven. His age was still eight teen. "Moon...did you take over Sun?"
"No, I wanted to join the party." An army of soldiers in all black dropped down from the sky, killing hundreds of Aetherians. Raymond was utterly confused, to fix it, Sun came down and tackled Moon to the ground. He had no time to wonder why they were separate, he stood up and took out his gold dagger, facing the Geniuses. Sun stared at him with his piercing violet eyes. Raymond's eyes turned red, and said, "I have no wish to fight you Sun..." Moon's mahogany eyes then drew Raymond's attention. "I can kill you easily, for now you and Sun are separate." Moon chuckled. Sun waved and flashed into light to leave nothing. "So....my revenge is finally here to serve." Moon laughed maniacally.
