When the theme stopped, River walked upstairs to see Sun taking his shirt off. She was surprised at how muscular he was, for she never noticed before. He was checking his scars it seemed. He looks better with his shirt off. But what is the story of that one across his abdomen? she thought. Sun put on a new shirt which looked exactly the same and walked out to see her. "Oh hello River, I did not notice you."
"Hi."
"How did you like my song?"
"It was graceful and ominous, it matches you well. I see why Heaven calls it your 'theme'."
"You just plagiarized those words from her, did you not?" River giggled. Sun tossed a cherry in his mouth and ate it very slowly. "So, besides watching me and Heaven, what have you been doing?" Sun talked with his cherry in his mouth.
"I have mostly been in my room writing in my dia- I mean I have mostly been hunting." Sun spit out the cherry, the stems were in a knot.
"You read mine, I think I should read yours." He walked to River's room. River jumped on him and giggling out "No!" many times. Sun stopped walking there and shrugged. "You are right, I should read it next time you have a heart-attack." River giggled out "No!" one more before jumping off of him. "Want to spy on Raymond and Heaven? This is how I mostly get my non-logical entertainment."
"Sure." Sun's hands glowed a valiant white as they both turned invisible to everyone but each other. They walked down to the dining area to see Heaven and Raymond sitting next to each other eating ham. "So, um, Heaven. What is your first name?"
"My first name? Why would you need to know that?"
"Well why not?"
"Truthfully, I forgot it. Almost my entire life I have been called Heaven. Sun probably knows it."
"Alright then. So, um, want to see Hamlet? It supposedly has 'good' actors, according to Sun. Yet again he said I am a bad actor so..." They both laughed.
"What a great couple." River whispered to Sun, hoping to inflict his envy.
"I have been waiting for them to be together since they met." Sun whispered to River's surprise.
"Wow, I thought you were 'in love' with her."
"She is my foster-sister..." River gasped loud enough to make Heaven and Raymond notice. Sun snapped and they both returned to visibility. River smiled broadly and blushed. Sun put his hand on his forehead.
"My apologies, River here is not a good spy. I told you it was about time I invade your privacy." The three chuckled as Sun walked out. River ran after him, leaving the star-crossed assassin and queen alone.
The two arrived atop of the Wizard's Tower, where they sat down and hung their legs off of the edge. "River, if someone close to you wanted to kill themselves and said they would do it tomorrow, what would you do to prevent it?" Sun changed from a joking tone into a serious one easily.
"Well, I would admit to everything. They would probably said it is not the same anymore, and I'd give them time alone afterwards. Then I'd see them early in the morning, and see if they were still going to go through with it. If so, I would talk with them, and whenever they rose their voice, I would lower mine." Sun nodded.
"A man who taught me wisdom through the fog we recall, told me the same thing." Sun had a flashback to when King Heaven died. "For I killed the man...and have lived my entire life in regret." Sun stood up and punched behind him blindly, only to have his fist grabbed by Dusk and he attempted to threw Sun, but he resisted. "What is it Dusk?"
"How stupid do you think I am?"
"Not very. But I wanted peace for a second or two."
"Those who work for it will receive. Unfortunately, you know why we cannot have such a thing." Sun nodded. "You felt emotion. You said you were in love."
"I believe it is love. My truths are still unproven."
"Do me a task, do not turn into Moon." Dusk tossed up a silver ring and faded into ashes. Sun caught it as he realized what it was.
"Why can you not have peace?" River asked.
"Twilight is not here. And there is only one thing which could sate us four. Changing the world. But we cannot do this because we all have different opinions on how to change it. So, our solution to see who can outlast the others. But since Twilight is not here, we do not know if she will work with one of us or against all of us."
"How come Dusk just does not finish you and Moon? He has shown his strength numerously."
"He is smarter than both of us together. His reason is unknown, however, he has the most interest in Twilight's motives." He grabbed River and conjured his wings, and they soar to the Castle.Heaven was on her throne, and Raymond stood next to her. Sun's eyes pinned and he went to build with his dice. River went upstairs and Raymond with Heaven just chatted amoungst themselves.
About four hours later, River came down to see Sun have built three dice towers. One had a dice labeled "Raymond" another had "People" and the middle tower had the paper die labeled "Heaven". River sat down next to Sun and stared at his towers. "He got me." Sun said. River turned to see Raymond choke on air and fall to the ground, Raymond's tower fell. Heaven's hysteria over it ended with her heart stopping it's beating and her falling next to him. Her tower fell. General Darius and Captain Louis entered to room, their questioning was ended by them screaming and dying. People's tower fell. Sun sat and stared at his pile of dice, emotionless. The Royal Chef came into the room, and stabbed himself with a knife, his blood covering Sun's white hair and face. River stood in anguish as Sun started collecting his dice. "Nisu ni ido."
