River ignored the fact the Four were gone, and just defended as if there were no tomorrow, for if she did not the simile would probably be true. She watched as the Aetherians charged from the gate, and Sapphire tapped her on her shoulder. She was in battle gear and had a sword the length of her. "I am avenging Kendra."

"But you have no combat experience...."

"Do not underestimate me." She put the great-sword upon her shoulder easily and jumped into the bloody fields. River watched her cut off the heads of green men and dark soldiers alike, and her jaw hit the floor.

Sun stared Dusk directly in his eyes and grinned, "How is your plan going?"

"We are cornered yes, but you know nothing, I digress, while my friend I can do anything." Dusk's only visible eye glowed purple and Moon conjured his wings. Sun conjured his, and the pillars fell. They all hit the ground, where Dusk and Twilight when into a sword and lance fight on the ground. Sun and Moon were about twenty feet above the ground, mainly using magic and their wings. Each on radiated their appropriate colors, showing their actions to all in the land.

When River saw the lights, she blew a horn to signal to the Aetherian's Sun is alive. Their morale immediately increased tenfold and more blood was shed. She sat on a piano and used a spell to amplify its sound to mask the screams and shouts, and played Sun's theme. She watched Sun and Moon ascend higher and higher after one another's attacks, Once they reached about nine miles into the air, Sun conjured a lance, the same as Twlight's, and impaled Moon straight through his heart. He repeatedly impaled him in various other places until finally letting the corpse hit the ground. Everyone saw the black light fade, Aetherius's army's morale increased significantly while the other two's decreased.

Meanwhile, in Dusk and Twilight's fight, Twilight mostly fought with her lance and Dusk with his two swords. The two constantly clashed blades and occasionally Dusk got a few cuts into his foe. When they saw Moon die, Twilight grinned and Dusk grunted. He glowed a brighter purple than before and turned into nine Dusks. A copy spell? This means he is weak. There is always one flaw with the copies, even if small. If I can find it then he is gone. She thought. Twilight conjured a few knives and threw one at each copy. One Dusk, the second to last on the left, did not get cut. She impaled that Dusk, only to have it disappear into dust. The remaining eight did the same action the one she stabbed did and they turned into dust. Would I turn to dust if I died? Sun soared down to her and hugged her tight. His theme stopped, and every living thing on the battlefield except for Sapphire turned to ashes. Sun and Twilight looked to see Sapphire surrounded with ashes and bodies. Wait, who killed them...? Twilight thought. The two ran to Sapphire and hugged her. The villagers came out and Sapphire ran back to the Castle. "The Bleached Genius has saved us once more!"

"But who is that girl he is with?"

"Is she his girlfriend?"

"No you idiot! The Bleached Genius would never have one." Was the conversation amoung the crowd. They cheered eventually until Sun held up his hand to silence them.

"There were about a thousand deaths of the innocent today. Do not praise me and my friend here, praise them. We only killed two people: The Enigmatic Genius and The Dark Genius. Those men killed many of the opposition." Sun put his wooden hand over his heart. "Within this fading darkness, I pledge my heart to purification. I did not let anyone interrupt it" He held his hand out to the ashes and bodies. "And no-one else let anyone interrupt it either." Sun walked off with Twilight and the crowd cheered and clapped.

As soon as they entered the Castle, they were squeezed by River. Twilight coughed for air and Sun just hugged her back. "Never die on me" She said to both. Sun walked rather fast to his room and Twilight promised she would not let herself or Sun die anytime soon.

When Sapphire took off her armor and put back on her dress, she heard water dripping from Sun's room. She entered to see the man having waterfalls of water rolling from his eyes, but he was not sobbing. She could not call it crying, but it was definite sadness. She rushed to his side and obviously asked what was wrong. "I have killed more innocents today. King and Princess Heaven were avenged along with Raymond and Andy, but it costed the lives of a thousand more."

"But you avenged them by killing Dusk and Moon."

"Still people depend upon me, even though it seems I do not get anywhere without killing."

"My father told me once long ago, 'Sapphire, you cannot gain anything without losing anything. Even if you do not know it, you lost something for that or gained something or losing this.' I live by those words." Sun looked her in the eyes.

"This is true. But what did I gain by killing?"

"Respect."

"I do not want respect. I killed for no reason it seemed. I am a hypocrite, for killing Dusk and Moon did not bring back Heaven or any of them."

"You still gained something. I never said it would be what you wanted." She kissed Sun's cheek. "Bye now." And she walked off.

Sun stoop atop of the gate of the Castle. "Rip apart the old memories with your hands, please stop sadness completely. A bird flew by and I fed it, I wounder if it found light."
