Twilight was placed in the room across from Sun's, Heaven's room. River was writing in her diary in her room, and Sun was stacking dice and laying out dominoes. Twilight walked on him, just in time to see him set off the dominoes. There was a two-dimensional "S" surrounding a dice statue of Moon. "Hello Twilight." Sun said, knowing she was there.
"Oh! Um...sorry to barge in.."
"I am used to it."
"Really? I would think an esteemed genius would have privacy."
"Well, I am not a genius but I have done a lot for this place. And no, I believe I have the least amount actually." Twilight immediately picked up on the humility trait of Sun.
"Yet you are called The Bleached Genius and are a member of the Four."
"People believe I am a genius, but personally I believe they should not count on me. I was born into the Four, so."
"Wish to show me around town?" Sun stood up.
"Sure, m'lady Twilight." Sun said sarcastically. Twilight chuckled and they both walked off.
Within seven minutes of being in the village, they found a group of people surrounding a woman holding a sleeping child. She was crying, the two were wondering if it was dead or out. Sun was allowed within and felt the child's heart and breathing. The heart was not beating, his breathing was slowing. The Bleached Genius's eyes glowed white as he jump-started the child's heart. It blinked rapidly then hugged it's mother. "Thank you Bleached Genius! You really have no reason to help us peasants!"
"But I do. If I were to only help royals, who would the royals rule? In addition, there are others out there rather than me. I do not want a payment of any form. Take care, now." Sun bowed and they both walked away. All but the mother, who was squeezing her child, watched them walk.
"What an interesting thought. I would think someone of your rank would ignore peasants." Twilight accidentally reminded Sun there was no one ruling and he and River were the only ones knowing.
"As I said before." Sun pointed at the Forest. "Whenever you need clean air, just go there. So many trees make the air crisp and clean." They then walked to the top of The Wizard's Tower. "I like it up here. It allows me to think clearly in almost privacy." Twilight smiled.
"It is rather nice up here." Sun looked at the light turning to darkness and took out his flute. He sat to hang his legs off of the edge and played his lullaby. The sound waves from his flute became visible as white, and assisted the sleep of all. "What a beautiful melody." Twilight sat next to him and yawned. Sun zoned out into his song, ignoring everything. Twilight fit her head on Sun's shoulder and slept soundly. Six minutes later, all of the land but Sun was sleeping and he stopped playing his lullaby. He noticed Twilight on his shoulder and he took out his journal and wrote.
At daybreak, Twilight woke up to Sun still writing. He closed his journal and put it away. "Good morning."
"Whoops. Looks like your lullaby really does work." River ran up in hysteria barely getting out,
"There you two are! I thought Dusk or Moon---" She realized Twilight's head on Sun's shoulder. "Oh..my apologies.." Twilight stood up and Sun also shortly after.
"River. We have to get someone into rule. Right now, the people do not know anyone died yesterday." Sun said.
"Not my issue."
"Yes it is actually. You are a princess of a Revolutionized kingdom, therefore out of anyone in this land you should be queen." Sun pulled a tissue out of his pocket. "Now, here is a tissue for your issue." Twilight chuckled.
"What? How come not you? You are technically a Heaven." River responded angrily.
"I do not know my true house name. In addition, I am no leader." River mumbled before taking the issue and walking down the tower.
"Who is this 'River'? She seems pretty envious of something."
"She is someone I saved from Moon. She does need a boyfriend, does she not?" Twilight nodded. Sun grabbed her and conjured his wings. They soared over the village, with most of the peasants waving to him. He waved back and landed at the Castle. Sun donated two-hundred coins to each stand, and three-hundred to the smith. River ran into the Castle and yelled, "QUEEN HEAVEN IS DEAD! HOUSE LAYOT NOW RULES!" Sun and Twilight put their hand to their forehead. Immediately, most people murmured "How come The Bleached Genius does not rule? Was he not adopted by King Heaven?" or "House Layot? Really?".
Two months later, King Wade, Princess Sapphire and Kendra, and Queen Taylor ruled over Aetherius. Sun and Twilight became The Royal Strategists, and River became a maid. All three of their rooms remained unchanged and Sapphire was across from River, Kendra being the room next to her. River, since she was close to Sun, was constantly asked by Sapphire ways to impress him. Kendra repetitively asked Sun about light magic. One morning, Sun had built a giant die out of three-hundred or so dice. He sat on it on held the paper die in the air and stared at the door with one eye as Sapphire opened it. "Hello Saph." Sun called her which as he mistakenly said it at dinner and she preferred it.
"Um, hi Bleached Genius. What are you doing?"
"I am strategizing."
"With dice?"
"Sometimes dominoes and dolls." Sapphire was confused by his answer, but she brushed it off.
"You know, there is a ball tomorrow night. Are you going?" Sun put the paper die next to him.
"No. I prefer my isolation. I will probab;y just be in here building or such. I can safely assume everyone else in this castle is going. I wish you and them the best at it."
"Thank you." Sapphire bowed and walked off.
"Do not bow to me." Sun said as she closed his door.
