Chapter 18 - First-time-rs

Earlier today, we went to an amusement park, we got ice cream, and ate sushi for dinner just like we planned it to be.

Right now, we're still chilling in this same Cafe we've been in since the past 2 hours, and now it's 9 pm.

"Guys, it's getting late. Do you think we should call it off?" Heidi asked after taking a last sip of her coffee drink.

I look over to my phone that I just connect to a wire because the battery is off, and noticed that I got several messages from Lottie.

I read them and I found out that Niall and Louis took her out for shopping, later to the arcade, and will have dinner.

So no one's home.

Great.

I'll be home alone.

"Can we not go home yet?" I pouted.

"What happened?" She asked me, "You got into a fight with your brother or something?"

"No.. it's worse.. No one's home." I sighed.

"Okay, just do whatever you want. I'm out. My mom's texting me like crazy.." She said, packing her stuff into her sling bag.

"Pleasee.." I picked on her sleeve.

"No Abbs. I'm taking a cab. Right now. I'm not getting kidnapped." She said nonsense.

"Ughh, fine,.. see you soon." I said as I hug her, followed by the rest of them.

"Keep in touch, okay?"

"Okay! Bye! Love you all!" She answered herself, and we watch her slowly disappear.

After that, we stayed for another hour and decided to go home.

"I regret drinking coffee.." I said as the four of us walking out of the cafe.

"Why?" Nick chuckled.

"I won't be able to sleep and will spend this night alone, staring at my phone.."

"Or get kidnapped.." I sighed.

"No don't say that, I'll come with you." Nathan said.

"You sure?" My eyes tries to find his under the low street lights.

"Yeah. Why not? Save us some money by taking one cab." He shrugs.

"Alright, you two. Get outta here." Nick said.

"Okay, see you all soon!" I hugged him then Michael.

I fell a sleep in the cab before Nathan woke me up. We exit the cab and I noticed that Niall's car is not yet found on the driveway.

I unlocked the door for us to come in but Nathan stopped on his track.

"You said you'll keep me company.." I looked over to him and sighed.

"Uh, you sure you don't mind?"

"Of course! What are you talking about? Why not? I mean, told ya no one's home-" I stopped mid-sentence caused by him raising his eyebrows, giving me the 'really?' look.

"No! Nate! What in the hell, I didn't mean it like that! I- ughh.." I covered my face as a heat of embarrassment starts raising up my cheeks.

I'm glad it's dark out here, so he can't see my red cheeks and nose..

"Hahaha no worries Abbs, I'm just messing with you." He said as he takes his shoes off.
