Xue Liang woke up and found herself in her bed, she remembered sleeping near the Lion. She recalled him as Liu Gang.
Getting up she got dressed when Su Rong just entered her room. "Miss Liang, you're awake. How do you feel?" Su Rong helped her up as she felt a sharp pain in her head. Stumbling back she fell onto the bed. Su Rong immediately grew worried about going over to Xue Liang's side. "Miss Liang, pull out your wrist."
Xue Liang pulled it out as Su Rong checked her pulse. Secretly learning about medicine as they both waited. "Miss Liang these symptoms. I have to find the herbs. This fever is no ordinary fever. Were you hit by the needles last time?" Xue Liang nodded as she looked at Su Rong. "Those needles are poison and once you take the medicine to stop it. You're supposed to go through a fever after but this is a late fever. The results are unknown but I have to get you the herbs. Just as Su Rong was going to leave she was pulled by her hand.
She turned around to look at Xue Liang. "Be careful. Consort Wan will try to stop us. Don't let anyone know how ill I am. Say that I decided to visit the market streets. If anyone asks for me." Su Rong nodded as she left out the door.
Xue Liang was panting heavily because the fever was causing her to be cold. Shivering, she soon saw shadow figures with masks in her room holding her sword close. Their swords struck down on her as she swiftly used her sword and killed off two.
Jumping out the window, three men were still following her. Running into the forest, she threw her dagger, killing off another one. Two left, she stumbled as she soon made it to the market. Going into a busy street, she still saw two of them as their mask was off. She went to an alley, her wrist was pulled back as her mouth was covered.
She was trying to get out as she then heard, "Stop struggling or do you want to die." She stopped knowing the voice and who it belonged to. Again they kept meeting that way. Liu Gang was hiding her in a small area in the alley.
He felt her hot body as her face was flushed. "Are you okay?" Xue Liang shook her head as she stumbled. Liu Gang held her as she was losing strength in her legs. Holding his arm as the two men went off to a different direction. "They're gone now." Liu Gang then said. Xue Liang fainted as he caught her. "Hey! Liang!"

Meanwhile at the market streets, Su Rong was carrying her basket as she went from herb shops. Two men were following her but she knew that they were following her.
Going into an alley as the two men followed her. Pulling out her sword having both struck at her. Dodging their swords, she stabbed one dead with the last one she cut his leg, having him stumble down. Just as she was about to kill him she was then stopped.
"Wait!" Looking up, she saw Peng Lim on the roof as he jumped down. "Keep this one alive. I want to ask him a few things."
Su Rong had put her sword back as Peng Lim knocked the spy out cold.
"I have to get back." She said while struggling.
"Miss Liang is currently at the Liu manor." Peng Lim then said as Su Rong turned around to face him.
"You're not playing with me right?" She gave him a death stare as he looked back at her.
"If I was playing then I wouldn't have showed up." He walked up to her as he bent his face closer to hers.
"Take me to Miss Liang." Su Rong then asked desperately. Peng Lim smiled as he dragged the man. Su Rong followed behind him since she needed to find Xue Liang.

Liu Gang was with Xue Liang, she woke up seeing him wipe her sweaty face. "Thank you. I'll be going. I don't want to be a bother." Xue Liang was forcing herself to get up as Liu Gang pushed her back down.
"No need to get up. Just rest here. This place may be safer than yours anyway." Liu Gang had a point, Xue Liang had no need to disagree.
Laying down, she felt exhausted, traveling through the forest and to the alley had used up a lot. Liu Gang wiped her head but she kept burning up. "Is this the first time you've ever had such a fever?" Breaking the silence, having her look at him.
"Yeah, this fever is pretty much the first one. Can you bring me more blankets?" Liu Gang went out for a bit bringing more blankets. Xue Liang covered herself still shivering with her body still cold. "Gang, can you bring more?" Shivering as he sighed knowing how many layers of blankets she had.
"Let's do it this way." Liu Gang took off his armor as he then got in the bed with Xue Liang hugging her. She was exhausted and couldn't think but she felt his warm body hugging her. Her face was in his chest feeling him hug her small slim body. She breathed heavily seeing him holding her tightly.
"Thank you, Gang." She said before she fell asleep deeply.
Liu Gang looked at her sleeping face as it was still red. He couldn't help but feel frustrated that he cared about this little slim fragile woman. She was still young and he knew not to touch her yet. Hugging her close as the day came, Su Rong went into the room as she saw Xue Liang with Liu Gang. She covered her eyes as Peng Lim smiled looking down at her.
"You like what you see?" Peng Lim then said mischievously as Su Rong punched his chest.
"Enough of that. I brought her medicine to reduce the fever." Liu Gang then got up as he stretched his hand out for the medicine.
