In the forest men scream in pain and agony as the second daughter of the Xue family runs away. "Run!!! We will kill it another time!!!" Xue Hai yelled with everyone retreating back.
"Madam Ling, our daughters have been hit by the arrows and General Liu and Peng have come across them and taken them. What do you suppose we do?" Su Lei questioned.
"We wait. Our daughters have feline blood in them so they won't die easily. I'll tell my husband I've sent her away to learn at the Taoist Temple a little early. In the meantime, General Liu seems familiar to me. His eyes remind me of someone but I can't recall it. Let's go back and wait for their return."
"Yes Madam Ling." Both left for the Xue Palace, informing Duke Xue Cheng of sending their daughters to the Taoist Temple early ahead.

At Liu Gang's manor both rushed into Peng Lim's secret room that no one enters. Setting the baby tiger down, the arrow had hit a critical spot. Peng Lim then started numbing the area while Liu Gang held onto the baby tiger from moving.
Pulling out the arrow, she thrashed and roared with pain. She soon bit down on Liu Gang's arm falling back down as the pain was unbearable. "Gang!"
"Keep going! This pain doesn't hurt as much as her pain right now!" Liu Gang told Peng Lim who hurriedly stopped the wound from bleeding. Fixing her up, the arrow had hit Xue Liang's side at the rib. Finishing her up, she soon released Liu Gang's arm then falling unconscious.
Peng Lim went towards the cloud leopard seeing it was only her arm injured. Taking the arrow out, she bit down on the table. Soon, Peng Lim caught her.
"This cloud leopard will be fine but the tiger it may be a struggle for her. We can only wait and see if she'll heal." Liu Gang stayed beside her while Peng Lim set the Cloud Leopard onto his bed, bandaging the leopard and soon bandaging Liu Gang's arm. "You would actually allow a tiger to bite you. You're lucky she is still a baby, not an adult." Peng Lim said seeing the bite and stitching it.
"I don't know but she is just so precious. Her amber eyes and her rare black and white fur is beautiful. She's been through so much pain. I want to protect her but she is a wild creature that would one day have to return to the wild and forget me." Liu Gang said, looking down.
"It seems as though if she were a human you would marry her." Peng Lim said mockingly. Just as he finished stitching Liu Gang's wound.
"Little tiger you better get well. I won't allow you to die easily." Three days passed as Xue Liang was still unconscious. The cloud leopard stayed with the tiger sleeping including Liu Gang also sitting nearby. He went out when he had to deal with his duties but returned after. "Lim, I don't understand why she isn't waking up. Did it harm her that bad?" Peng Lim checked her as he couldn't answer.
"She is just a kitten and it's not easy for her body to heal as a baby." Peng Lim said reading.
"Little tiger don't die. We risked so much to save you. Don't you want to see your family again." Xue Liang heard his voice. She didn't just want to see her family but him also. Her ears twitched, slowly opening her eyes as they were blurry. Whining, everyone looked at her and felt joy as she finally woke up.
"Your finally awake!" Liu Gang rubs her head with his hand in joy, he felt his heartbeat with so much happiness. Su Rong and Peng Lim watched with happiness. Xue Liang had dry throat, she meowed but felt it grumble as Peng Lim got a small food bowl filled with water handing it to Liu Gang.
"Give her water. It's been three days so she needs the water." Liu Gang took the water to the little tiger as she started drinking it. Finishing it as she was restless looking at them.
"Miss Liang, you've been asleep for three days. You were lucky that we came across Gang and Lim. They saved us and stitched us." Su Rong said as Xue Liang looked at her.
"Gang, the investigation of the kidnapping seems as though the one behind it all is going to be hard to find. Who do you suppose is the mastermind?" Peng Lim said. Liu Gang was pondering.
"Madam Ling wouldn't be the one to set everything up cause she would never endanger her children. Madam Shen and Madam Wan are the only issues. It's going to be complicated but we may have to wait a long time. Since this happened then those two wouldn't want to make a move until then." Liu Gang then looked down to the little tiger struggling to get up. She wobbled then fell to the side as he caught her. "Whoa, careful little tiger. Your wound took a long time to heal and watch over. You're staying with us until your wound heals. Along with your friend here." Su Rong and Xue Liang looked at each other while Liu Gang then opened the bandage to her wound.
"Her wound is healing finely. It hit her lung but it was able to heal somehow." Peng Lim looked at it in amazement.
"She's a strong tiger. I have something to give her so that I won't forget her." Liu Gang took out a necklace that was a flower colored amber. Putting it around Xue Liang's neck as it could adjust as well.
"It can adjust when you grow older. I hope that this necklace will continue to remain on you when you're older." Liu Gang said. Xue Liang rubbed against his chest. Each day passed, Xue Liang's wound healed faster than normal since she wasn't just a normal tiger. Su Rong and Xue Liang would watch Liu Gang and Peng Lim talk about the investigation and about the army.
Both girls would also watch them practice their sword fight. Seeing how both Liu Gang and Peng Lim were very skilled.
"Miss Liang, four days have passed and your wound has finally healed completely. I'm fine now but we must return soon. We cannot bear to let our mothers be worried." Su Rong said as Xue Liang knew that they both had to leave soon.
Night came across as the girls were listening to the boys talking pretending to be asleep.
