Xue Liang was combing her hair while Liu Gang watched her from the bed catching her attention. "Gang don't keep looking at me. If you keep looking at me then I'll be going." She was about to leave when he quickly got up hugging her from behind.
"Is my wife being stubborn again? Should I take her to bed again?" She smiled, turning to flick his forehead.
"No, you need to spend time with Feng. His father needs to spend time with him no matter what." Liu Gang still hugged her, never had he felt the happiest for the past two month with his family and friends.
"Liang, this time give me a daughter." She blushed, turning around to see him smirking at her.
"Gang that is going to wait." She said as he started kissing her until someone barged in. Xue Liang pushed him away, seeing the messenger kneeling.
"This servant has something important to tell you." Liu Gang sighed just when he almost got Xue Liang.
"What is that important to tell?" Liu Gang asked the messenger.
"Two little boys and a servant arrived and the two boys are claiming to be sons of the Xue Manor." Xue Liang quickly rushed out, having Liu Gang follow her.
They quickly ran out to the front of the wall of Qiliang Gates as she saw her two brothers kneeling. "Li! Yahui!" They smiled and started crying as they all ran to each other as they hugged one another.
"What are you both doing here!? Where's father and madam Shen!?" Xue Liang asked, looking at the boys and servant boy. They were all covered with dirt and sand from their long journey to reach Qiliang Kingdom.
"Father was at the palace when it got invaded. Madam Shen sent us here to give this to the Qiliang Kingdom." Xue Li took out a letter as she looked at it. It was the battle plan of the Ming Kingdom that was going to start a war with the Qiliang Kingdom.
"Gang, Prince Ye Ping and Sister Ya have started their move." Liu Gang took the papers as it was all planned out. Madam Shen Jun had been collecting information secretly also. She was a clever woman who wasn't only trying to keep the Xue family generation going but also helping them from befalling.
They couldn't believe she would do so. "Madam Shen risked her life to save us three. Madam Ya killed her. I saw it with my own eyes." The servant boy said as Xue Liang knew who he was. He was known in the Xue manor who remained loyal the longest.
"Liang Zi An?" He looked at Xue Liang as he had teary eyes. He was about fifteen years old, he looked at her and nodded. "All of you boys, come inside and we'll get you some food and spare clothes." They were all taken to the palace as they were given a new set of clothes as food was set out for them. They were eating hungrily as they finished.
"These boys are the ones that brought it." Empress Li Qiliang then said. Looking at the three of them, they kneeled down to her as they were begging.
"Empress Qiliang, please help save our father. He was captured by Prince Ye Ping and Older Sister Ya." Xue Yahui said with tears in his eyes.
"Get up boys." They stood up looking at her as they had teary eyes. Soon Ling Fe walked in as she froze and looked at the two boys as she felt her memories. Her head became heavy as she then stumbled being held by Su Lei but got up.
Su Lei held her as the two boys then saw her. "Mother!!!!" The boys ran to her as they hugged her.
"Mother! We thought you died in the fire!" Ling Fe started crying and smiling as she hugged them. She felt her chest with pain and tears streaming down now.
"I remember... my children. I remember my husband, friends, and family." She kept sobbing, everyone went to her as they couldn't believe the whole time they needed the boys.
"Leave the three of them. Let us talk about the war that is approaching." Everyone nodded as they went to the main room. Empress Qiliang Win sat down as she had all the generals and ministers all below her as her son was with her. "We are all going to war soon. This time the Ming Kingdom will see the true power of Qiliang. We are no ordinary humans but we will show them what it means to mess with the wrong kind." Everyone cheered as they were now getting ready.
Even those outside could hear as some were shifted already as felines growling and roaring to cheer one their empress. Liu Gang stood by his mother knowing that she was the greatest ruler he had seen who was rather wise and clever. His mother looked to her own kind as her family. She had been doing this job alone all this time as he was just out there in the field and battle.
He was going to help his mother in this kingdom, to help her feel at ease about her home and kingdom. He stood looking at all of his kind as he had to protect them and lead them correctly in the future.
