Chapter 37

Rebbeca

Ashton took me to a nearby carnival, we ended up riding a bunch of the rides and playing those rigged station games. We walked around the carnival, holding hands. I held a giant stuffed panda bear and a cotton candy in my other hand. For the first time in my life I think I was in love.
"What's on your mind baby" I heard Ashton say, as his arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer. I smiled cheekily "nothing, just thinking about how this is probably the best day ever" I giggled.

Ashton smiled back with his pearly white teeth, it complimented his tanish skin and golden curls. We walked to his car and I didn't even realize what time it was. I checked my phone, 12:50. Oh my god steph, Frankie and Alex must be worried as hell right now. I quickly got into Ashton's car and put my stuff down, I check my notifications. 3 missed calls from steph, 4 from Frankie and 2 from Alex. A bunch of texts from steph and Frankie.
"What's wrong" Ashton asked, I was feeling stressed by the second.

"It's my sister and brothers. They called me a bunch of times and I never told them where I was going and if they call my mom she'll drop all her important meetings in California, and I'll be in so much trouble." I pushed my hair back with my hand and took deep breaths. Ashton placed his hand on my cheek and made me look at him.
"Hey, everything's going to be fine. I'll drive you home right now" he said, I felt slightly better only because he assured me.

I called my sister and she immediately picked up "um where are you!" She snapped, I bit my lip "I'm on a date, I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It's just you get so nosey with this kind of stuff and I really didn't need you on my back" I explained, I heard Ashton chuckle in the background. "What? No I don't! I've literally never done that" she defended. I rolled my eyes, "are Frankie and Alex okay?" I asked, "oh yea, they're fine now but we were freaking out earlier because we thought you were like dead or doing drugs" she said. "Did you call mom" I said more like an order instead of a question.

"No, I would've given you till morning to show up and if you hadn't then I would've called mom but you should thank me that you dodged an ass whooping from mama" she said. "Okay thanks. I'm coming home right now" I said and with that I hung up.
"Your sister seems like she has an attitude" he laughed a little, I looked at him "um she does have an attitude and a big mouth" I added, Ashton laughed again.

We arrived at my house, I told him he could pull up in the driveway. Ashton walked me onto the front porch and he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Good night princess" he said against my lips and kissed me, I kissed back and when I pulled away I heard giggling coming from the other side of the door. I turned around annoyed and covered the peep hole on the door with my thumb.
"Aw come on let us see the gringo that you chose" I heard my brother Frankie tease.

"Don't pay attention to them they're just annoying" I said, Ashton chuckled. "I don't mind meeting them if they want to" he said, all the bad scenarios were going through my head but then I just didn't care anymore. They were just going to keep pestering me about Ashton. I swung the door open hitting all of them, they stumbled back a bit and then stood up straight.
"Ashton, these are my two brothers Alex and Frankie and my sister steph" they all waved and smiled at Ashton. "Hey guys I'm Ashton, I'm your sisters boyfriend" he said. I blushed when he said boyfriend, are we officially a couple now? I couldn't stop smiling I just wanted to tackle and kiss him but I couldn't at the moment.

My thoughts were interrupted when steph spoke up "Have I seen you before?" She asked, I looked at her confused "what?" I said. She stared at Ashton as if she was studying him, "I swear I've seen your face before somewhere" she claimed, I looked back at Ashton who was just as confused as I am. "Okay that's enough meet and greet, I think we all need to sleep because some of us don't know how to act" I said.
Frankie, Alex and Steph all went upstairs. I turned back around to face Ashton, "sorry about her, she always jumps to conclusions" I said, Ashton shook his head "it's fine, they seem fun" he said as he leaned on the doorway.

"That's a total lie but ok" I laughed, I was interrupted by an incoming call from my friend Austin. Ashton and I both looked down at my screen, I declined it. "Who's that" ash asked, I scrunched up my nose "it's just a friend Austin. He's been bugging me to go over his house but I don't want to and I don't think think I ever will want to and he just doesn't understand that" I said, Ashton nodded. I grabbed his hands "but you don't need to worry about him" I assured him. Ashton nodded again, "It's alright, I don't mind you having guy friends" he said. I smiled and kissed him.

He began to walk back to his car and I closed the door. I secretly watched him leave as he drove off from the window next to our door. I couldn't stop smiling.

Damn I really have to learn how to make my chapters shorter
