Dear Lena,

You'll be glad to hear that Noah's first day at kindergarten went well. He is in the same class as Ava and Archie which is good, I am glad he is not alone in the class. His teacher, Miss Fell, seems nice enough, she made him feel welcome and they sang lots of songs and did lots of arts and crafts.

Noah made a person out of a spork, bluetack, a lollipop stick, some googly eyes and a few pipe cleaners. He named it Forky. I am so proud of him. He's got such a talent with the arts. He must get that from you because he definitely doesn't get it from me. Forky is kind of creepy but Noah likes it. He made it during orientation before his first day and he takes it with him everyday in his backpack.

I think he knows something is different about his family, he is becoming more aware that the children in his class have two parents instead of one. I just hope he doesn't let it bother him. If you were here, he wouldn't have known any different, but he does. He is different, I mean he is half kryptonian.

Noah is enjoying kindergarten despite everyone else having two parents instead of one. Ava and Archie are there for him, they don't make him feel like an outsider.

In other news, Noah is five today. Five! How time flies, am I right?

Alex and I have organised a birthday celebration for him. We are taking him to the carnival in the park with Archie and Ava. Arthur will be there too. He doesn't know yet so shh, don't tell him. It is a secret. He is going to have so much fun. Maggie and Alex will spoil him and I'm not going to lie, I will spoil him too. It's going to be a great day. It's going to be a happy day, even without you there.

I miss you.

Your love,
Kara.
