Dear Lena,

It's Noah's sixteenth birthday today. He is now old enough to learn to drive. He is growing up so fast, I can't believe it. Sixteen years! Sixteen years old! Woah!

I have bought Noah his first cell phone. I think it is time he got one. He's old enough now and he is at high school. I believe he is responsible enough.

I got my first cell phone when I was sixteen. It was a small rubbish thing that only made calls and texts. It was Alex's old one. But it worked and I used it for a year before it broke completely and Eliza bight me a brand new cell phone.

Noah has decided that for his birthday he wants to go to the carnival with just his friends. I feel a little hurt by this, but I know it's because he is a teenager and he is in high school, he's growing up. Who wants to hang out with their uncool parents at that age?

I wish you were here, the house wouldn't feel so empty while Noah is out.

I miss you.

Your love,
Kara.
