Okay so I wanted to talk about Kpop celebrities and them having hairstyles thatS apart of black culture. This is my take and how I generally feel about it but if y'all don't agree with me put down your opinions and then we can talk about it. So, I know this is random but someone asked about it plus for some odd reason a lot of idols are wearing such hairstyles like braids, dreads, and etc. which wouldn't bother me if they understood the culture behind it. Here's my opinion. I don't mind them wearing it as long as they respect black culture. You know doing the research, understanding everything, wearing them at appropriate times, And or even asking us but at the same time I do feel weird seeing non black people wearing our hairstyles because it's like y'all talk all this shit but can boldly wear them. Like I don't know if I'm contradicting myself but like being black with natural hair our hair isn't "acceptable" to society. You know what I mean? That's why a lot of ppl perm their hair Because straight hair is acceptable. But like we go through some struggles with wearing braids and dreads and it's mainly because of today's society the same society who's trying to wear our hairstyles as if they weren't talking shit 10 seconds ago. But lemme get back on topic, for example with bang Chan I discussed about him earlier but like I think my opinion may have changed since before idk but I was offended cuz not only did u wear the corn rows or Dutch braids whatever the hell they were in a way that didn't seem as respectful because on top of that you wore them while rapping. Which was just an okay moment cuz that's not cute. But I do feel as if we aren't educating him like now I see him trying to make things better but like it's so hard so so HARD to educate ppl Because others of different races ALWAYS HAVE TO FUCKING BUTT IN!!!!! Like if you aren't black don't tell him and or any other kpop idol that what they did was okay and we are just hating. Which is not true cuz at the end of the day I still love me some bang Chan he's my other bias in stray kids besides hyunjin but that doesn't mean I'll support his actions. We aren't haters we are just tired of being disrespected and shit talked by ppl who aren't even relevant to the situation. Also, I don't know all the hate towards bang Chan Is from the braids but like it needs to stop because honestly now it's getting out of hand from what I've seen, if the topic of hate is coming from the bride incident, we aren't educating him literally we are shit talking and or threatening him and for what? Educating and hating are two different things. I want him to understand what he did was fucked up but like don't tell that boy to die we all aren't perfect we all fuck up that's why educating exists so we can help him figure its out. So, all this threatening him needs to stop because at the end of the day that's not educating. In conclusion, I don't mind them wearing it they just gotta do the research. That's not too much to ask, I want them to educate themselves and respect black culture.
