All of the students danced around, happily. Fireworks exploded from above. They were celebrating not only Ben's coronation, but also the fresh start for the VKs.
Music blared from the speakers, and the students sang. North danced with Chad as they grinned at each other.
North briefly sang with her friends, but she was more focused on Chad. The song came to an end, and Chad held his girlfriend close. They smiled at the fireworks that signaled the end of the night.
Chad and North ran together, hand in hand. They arrived at Chad's dorm, and North smiled at her boyfriend, while sitting on his bed.
"Uh, here. You can borrow my shirt." North tossed an oversized blue tee to the girl, and she looked at him pointedly. Chad turned around blushing as she changed.
"It smells like you." North whispered. Chad stripped until he was just in his boxers. North had already made herself comfortable in bed, almost asleep. Chad walked next to her with a smile. He adjusted their positions, and he had the girl in his arms.
"Thank you for everything. Who would've thought I'd fall for someone like you." North mumbled, half conscious. Chad looked at her, a ghost of a smile on his face.
"I didn't do anything. I just told you what you needed to hear." Chad pecked the side of her head, and she snuggled closer to him.
"I really like you, Chad. I'm not sure what it feels like, but I think I might love you." She confessed. Chad stared at her shocked, but before he could respond, the girl was fast asleep.
"I love you." He mumbled, before he too fell asleep.
