The big day had finally arrived. Everyone was anticipated and anxious for all different reasons. Both good and bad intentions.

The VKs, except North, were having second thoughts on their original plan. Their parents awaited at the isle, practically itching to escape. Ben was nervous about his crowning, and the other heroes were nervous about their clothing. The only person who was stoic and emotionless about all of this was North Legume.

The said female stood in front of her mirror, searching for any flaw. Once she was satisfied, a knock on her door caught her attention. She opened it revealing the one and only, Chad Charming.

"Hey, North...can we talk?" North did not do forgiveness. It was a known fact for anyone that knew her or lived in the isle. Once you crossed her, and you lived to tell the tale, you were never given a second glance by her. So, it surprised Chad when she agreed.

The prince stepped into her room, nervously. He played with his thumbs while North looked at him, expectantly.

"I really am sorry. I never meant to hurt you, and being with you made me so happy. Not Audrey. She came onto me to make Ben jealous. I didn't kiss her back." Chad began, defending himself. North was quiet, and Chad took it as a sign that he should continue talking.

"Please, take me back. I love you-"

"Sweetie, I don't know how to love. Don't waste your breath on me." North interrupted, finally speaking. To her surprise, Chad grinned.

"Then, I'll teach you." North was taken back by his words, and she felt her heart race again.

Stop. I don't have time for feelings.

"What if I'm incapable of learning." North retorted, but Chad's grin simply fell into a soft smile. He looked at the girl with adoring eyes that terrified the young girl. These new feelings were something she didn't know how to cope with.

"I don't think you are, and even so, I'll wait for you. As long as it takes. Please, North. Give me another chance." North really wanted to consider his offer, but her parents came to mind when she even thought of doing so. They would definitely not approve of her going for a prince of good intentions.

"What about Audrey-"

"I broke up with her before Family Day. I couldn't stand being with a girl I didn't even love, like I do you." North was quiet at his words. She stared at him, trying to find a secret motive.

Did he break up with her for me, or she broke up with him so now he's desperate? Maybe he just wants a date to coronation.

However, the look on Chad's face dismissed any of her doubts. Without realizing, she nodded, accepting him once again. A large grin stretched on Chad's face. He ran to the female and twirled her around while cheering. North laughed, as Chad yelled out that she was his, as if anyone could hear.
