Prologue

A long time ago, a war waged on. The Skylings were attacking the Ice kingdom, and to make matters worse, the Fire kingdom was also attacking them as well (Yes, everything changed when the fire nation attacked ha ha the joke's been said). However there was no truce between the Skylings and the Fire kingdom, the Skylings would even attack the Fire kingdom as well. These wars were long, and many lives were lost. It went on and on, for years and years...Until. 

She stepped in.

An ice spirit, taking pity on the Ice kingdom, and created a group of weapons known as the Nitro weapons. They wouldn't help with the Fire kingdom, but the Skylings...Oh boy did it hit them hard. How it worked, was that, upon contact with the skin, whether it be through clothes or whatever the case, the weapon would freeze the enemy's internal ink entirely, rendering them a helpless and lifeless statue. The foe could then be finished off with another hit or attack. Millions upon millions of Skylings perished from these weapons, and eventually retreated, to later fight the inklings and octolings. The Ice kingdom then made a religion out of worshipping this ice spirit, Misty. Their battle with the Skylings was over, they even framed some wings up in their halls and stole some blades, armor, and tech. But their battle with the Fire kingdom was long from over...

And so, the Rinklings and Firelings continued on.
