They say all is fair in war. In battle, the only thing you could do to show respect towards your opponent, is to give it your all. It doesn't matter if you don't say it. Just actions are enough to let them know that you acknowledge their strength by fighting with all you have no matter how one sided the battle looks.
Acknowledgement, was it? That word has a pretty ring to it. To become a Hero, one must first be acknowledged by everyone. Or was it the other way around. That to be acknowledged by everyone, one must first become a Hero.
Such a thought, that was. Something I've never contemplated up until now. Perhaps the former was more acceptable. The fact that U.A. is broadcasting this event in all of Japan proves that us, students, who are aspiring Heroes should first be acknowledged and known by everyone to become the Hero we aspire to be.
But do I really wanted to become one? A Hero, that is. I said I wanted to win in the Sports Festival, but that doesn't guarantee the fact that I wanted to become a Hero.
I should leave that thought to be contemplated another time. For now, I should focus in what's in front. Otherwise if I were to look on ahead to the far future, I might lose sight of what's in front.
The following match after my battle with Kaminari were but a blur to me. The matches started and ended as boredom started to crept down and corrupt my system. Boredom, they say, precedes great creativity. One must be wary of a man drowning in boredom, for he can do something that far exceeded one's imagination.
