Wonwoo and Jiwoo were strolling in the empty suburbs of their hometown, Changwon. It was a Friday evening and they were making their way back home after a busy, yet productive, day.

The cloudless evening sky was darkening by the minute and the air was beginning to cool without the sun's presence. Street lamps were starting to switch on, illuminating the road ahead of them.

Sounds from the nearby city centre echoed in the distance, along with the occasional rumbling of airplanes in the sky. Wonwoo was pushing his bicycle along next to him, while his sister accompanied him.

Another airplane passes.

Wonwoo slows to a halt and looks up at it, following it with his eyes. A small sigh escaped his lips.
He really needed a break. He needed an escape from his never–ending routine of continuously working.

The problem is, he couldn't afford to rest, nor did he want to stop working to take one. If he stopped working then there'd be no one to provide for him or his sister. He is the older sibling after all, so he has to carry all the responsibility on his shoulders.

Jiwoo stops next to Wonwoo and looks in the same direction. She lets out a sigh and shoves both her hands in the pockets of her coat. She knows exactly what he's thinking.

"Let's go on vacation."

Wonwoo turns his head to focus his attention on his younger (and shorter) sibling. He pushes his glasses slightly higher up his nose; a habit he's had for a long time.

"I already told you, Jiwoo. I can't."

His deep voice echoed through the streets.
Jiwoo angles her body towards Wonwoo and then steps in front of him, reaching up and grabbing both of his shoulders.

"Wonwoo. You've been working your ass off for, what, the past 5 years? You deserve a break. Not to mention the fact that you've practically raised me. You've had a lot to deal with and I'm scared that if you don't rest, you'll legitimately combust."

Wonwoo sighed once more. She was right. However, he still had responsibilities and that outweighed pretty much every other thing. He shrugged off her hands from his shoulders.

"You're right, but I can't—"

Jiwoo covered his mouth with her hand.
"Before you say you can't afford it, I have some money saved. I can pay for the entire thing. Problem solved!" She removed her hand and put it back in her coat pocket.

"Wait... how did you even get this money? I don't remember you ever getting a job."

Jiwoo linked her arm with Wonwoo's and forced him to start walking again. They needed to get home. He continued dragging his bicycle.

"I got a part time job last year. I didn't wanna tell you about it until Christmas..." She looked away.
"Christmas? But, it's literally only August— Wait... you got a job?" Wonwoo furrowed his brows.

"I'm in the process of saving money for a holiday for the both of us. I was going to give you the money as a Christmas present and then let you decide where to go. Now that I think about it though, we should travel sooner."

"I'm still confused as to how I never knew you had a job."

Jiwoo rolled her eyes playfully.
"It doesn't matter right now! What matters is, that we get you out of here for a little bit. What do you think? I'll have enough money in about two weeks. "

He hummed in contemplation.
"I think that you should save your money and spend it on yourself. I don't wanna spend the money you worked for, it's unfair."
