"By the way... is your head feeling okay? You have quite a deep cut at the side of it and it's been bleeding ever since we got you."
"It's f-fine. I feel okay."
Truth is, he felt a bit lightheaded and nauseous, but he didn't want to worry him.

"Is that?... I see Mingyu! Wait here."
Hansol ran towards Mingyu to help him with the girl.
"Let's put her near Wonwoo. They were on the flight together so, I think it's his girlfriend or something." Mingyu ordered, a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Wonwoo has a girlfriend? He never mentioned that..."
"Mentioned? Did you speak to him?"
"Yup! We're like, totally friends now. You should talk to him too. Especially since you have a cru—"
"How do you know about that?" He interrupted rapidly, his cheeks burning.
"I caught on after Seungcheol said it."

They both walked over to where Wonwoo was and lay her in the sand. Wonwoo immediately shuffled towards the girl and kneeled next to her. "J-Jiwoo? Jiwoo, can you hear me? Is she okay?" Wonwoo's eyes widened at the limp body of his sister and his eyes were threatening to tear up. He looked up at Mingyu and caught him staring. They made eye contact.

Mingyu stared at him with adoration. Wonwoo looked like a sad and adorable puppy. All he wanted to do was hug the shit out of him and protect him at all costs. He frowned when he noticed that the side of Wonwoo's head was bleeding.

"She's okay, she passed out recently." Mingyu answered in a soft voice. Wonwoo turned back to Jiwoo.
Mingyu could tell he cared for this girl a whole lot and he silently wished Wonwoo cared about him that much. But alas, they were basically strangers at this point.

Not for long though.

"Hey, Wonwoo. Can I talk to you for a minute?"
Wonwoo nodded and gave Jiwoo one more look before standing. Turns out his legs still weren't working right. His legs gave way and he fell right into Mingyu.
Mingyu held Wonwoo in his arms.
"Are you okay?"

Wonwoo's heartbeat quickened at the sudden contact and his cheeks were a bright pink.
"Y-Yeah, my legs aren't working properly. I'm s-sorry."
"It's okay, I'll help you walk."
They walked a few steps away from Hansol and Jiwoo, Wonwoo clinging onto Mingyu for support. Both males stopped and faced each other. The taller male took out the glasses from his pocket.
"I think these are yours? I found them in the plane."

Wonwoo took the glasses shyly and put them on. Everything was crystal clear now. He focused on Mingyu's face. He was... stunning. Just as stunning as he remembered him to be.

"T-Thank you. For the glasses."
Mingyu smiled brightly and Wonwoo noticed his canine teeth were quite sharp. It was kinda cute though. He smiled back. Strangely, Wonwoo felt... comfortable around Mingyu. There was just something about him. Even since he was in high school, there was always something about Mingyu that made him want to know more.
It was like Mingyu was a drug and Wonwoo was a drug addict. He couldn't get enough of him. Which is why Wonwoo used to sometimes follow him around in high school. More often than not, they'd bump into each other in the hallways. Perhaps because Mingyu used to do the exact same thing. Some may call it 'borderline stalking' but it wasn't. It was, to put it simply, an 'infatuation' that turned into 'love' over the years.
And love makes us do crazy things.

"I'm Mingyu by the way."
"I know. From high school right?"
"Yeah, I didn't think you'd remember. We never spoke."
"How could I not? You were—" Wonwoo snapped his mouth shut and covered it with his hands. There he goes again, blabbering things he didn't mean to say out loud.
Mingyu smirked. "I was what?"
"N-Nothing."

Seungcheol and Jeonghan has arrived back at the beach with several backpacks, handbags and satchels. They had brought them over on a small handmade raft formed from a bunch of lifejackets they tied together so that the baggage would float.

"Mingyu! Wonwoo! Come help us look through these bags." Hansol shouted. Both males made their way back to the small group. Seungcheol gave Mingyu a look and a smile. When Mingyu's face contorted into one of confusion, Seungcheol pointed to Wonwoo with his eyes and winked. Mingyu looked away and blushed.
Meanwhile, Jiwoo was still unconscious and Wonwoo was getting worried. Shouldn't she be awake by now?

"I'll hand each of you a bag. Let's see if we can find anything useful." Seungcheol announced.

And so they began searching through the bags of the deceased for anything that could help them survive.

It wasn't a good thing to do, morally, going through dead people's belongings; but you need do what you need do in order to survive.
