Two weeks went by in the blink of an eye.

It was finally Saturday.
Both Wonwoo and Jiwoo were packing last minute items into their backpacks.

"What about your asthma inhaler?"
"I've already packed everything, stop stressing out. Everything's gonna be fine." She patted Wonwoo's shoulder, before grabbing her suitcase.

"Let's wait for the taxi outside."
Wonwoo nodded and followed suit. Once outside, he locked the front door and double checked his backpack to make sure he had everything he needed for the plane. It was a fourteen hour flight after all.

Wonwoo had decided to wear a woollen pastel blue sweater with a thin white t–shirt underneath since it would most likely be cold on the airplane. He also wore a pair of black jeans that were ripped at the knees, paired with his light blue checkered vans.
On top of this, he wore his round gold framed glasses and his grey backpack. He looked at his reflection in the porch window and ran his hands through his straightened dark brown hair, before deciding to give it a side parting. He nodded to himself in approval.

"You look good with a side part, you should do it more often."
Wonwoo pretended to be offended. "Are you saying I don't look good when I don't have a side parting?? I can't believe you'd say such a thing, Ji."
"Oh shut up, you know what I mean. And you wonder why I don't compliment you often."

Wonwoo chuckled, glancing at the leather watch on his wrist. 6:34PM. The flight departed at 8PM; they still had a bit of time.
A couple of minutes later, the taxi arrived and they were on their way.

Upon arrival, they checked in their suitcases then made their way to the security check area. Once all that was out of the way, they sat outside their gate.

It was now 7:28PM.

"Should we get something to eat, Ji? They don't serve food on the plane until later on."
"Yup, I'm getting kinda hungry."
"What do you want?"
"Hmm..." Jiwoo looked around at the stores around her. She didn't have many options, so she went with Starbucks. "I'll have a hot chocolate and a sandwich."
"Okay, wait here."

Wonwoo made a beeline to the Starbucks and soon enough, he had Jiwoo's food and drink.
"Here."
"Thanks."
"I'm gonna look for something for myself."
"Don't take too long, they just announced that the gates will open in ten minutes."
Wonwoo modded swiftly then began wondering. He was hungry but didn't know what he wanted to eat. However, now was not the time to be indecisive, he had to hurry. He only had ten minutes after all.

Eventually, he settled on buying three sandwiches, a giant pack of honey butter chips, and a large bottle of water. It seemed like a lot, but then again, Wonwoo didn't usually eat airplane food.

"Finally, you're back. Let's go, there's people lining up already!" Jiwoo finished her hot chocolate with one last swig, then proceeded to throw away her cup. Both siblings lined up and eventually, they made it past the desk where they check the passports.

As they got closer to boarding the plane, Wonwoo's heart began racing. He wasn't a frequent flyer or anything like that, so he wasn't quite used to the concept of planes. I mean, you're pretty much stuck in a compressed metal can with wings, thousands of feet in the air.
That's totally not terrifying.
He shook his head and tried to calm down. Nothing was going to happen.
Right?

Not long after, all passengers were in their seats and the plane was fully loaded; there were no empty seats.
Jiwoo let Wonwoo have the window seat while she took the aisle seat. She tended to use the bathroom more than him anyways.
Wonwoo listened out for the sounds of any babies crying. Thank God there weren't any near them. Babies are adorable, but they can be such a nuisance at times like this.
