The six dolls smile widely.
"Moxy, you were right." Uglydog whispered.
Isabella held her head as it throbbed for a moment before stopping completely. To her, the Institute of Perfection seemed familiar to her.
All of a sudden, a buzzer went off as the human like dolls and Uglydolls got launched forward.
"Please enter through the gates and make your way to the individualization scanners." the female announcer says as robots lead them through.
"Welcome to the Institute of Perfection." a male announcer greets.
"Here, you will become the best doll you can be. We will help you grow from pretty to perfect." another female announces states as holograms of a male and female doll are shown.
A hologram of a house could be seen as the male announcer spoke again, "...But only after you successfully pass the final challenge we call "The Gauntlet". Can you proceed to the Big World?"
A doll steps into one of the scanners, gets scanned, and becomes a female doll with short purple hair.
"Your name is Meghan. You're a lawyer/model." An electronic voice states.
"Objection, Your Honor." Meghan skips out.
Another doll gets scanned by a different scanner and becomes a male doll with blue hair.
"Your name is Michael. You're a engineer/model."
"I'm an individual. Exactly like the rest of you." Michael walks out.
Isabella looks at the scanner in front of them.
"You go first, Isabella." Moxy told her.
"Okay, but I'm not sure if it will work on me." Isabella steps up, gets scanned, and has her entire outfit change.
Her brown fading to blonde hair was still down, but a lot more curly and elegant. Her outfit was a knee length, flowy white dress with a black bow ties around her waist. She was wearing black heels as well.
"Your name is Isabella. You're a singer/dancer/model."
"Okay..." Isabella steps out of the scanner and looks back at her friends.
The scanner scans Moxy as a buzzer goes off and the green light turns red.
"You are not a model. Data does not compute." the scanning device gets distorted, "I-I-Tell my family I love them." the camera shuts off and smashes to the ground.
Eight dolls stare at the five Uglydolls in shock, confusion, or disgust. Wage points to Moxy as Isabella faces away like nothing happened. Moxy, Uglydog, Lucky Bat, and Babo smile at the human dolls.
The dolls scream before running off, but the Uglydolls weren't fazed.
A blonde doll cringed, scared of the dolls as they were walking by.
"Ah, must be a customary greeting here." Lucky Bat screeches in the doll's face as the blonde screams before fainting.
The Uglydolls continue to walk around as Isabella looked at the place, curious.
Uglydog started talking to a female purple-haired doll, "Hola, mi amor." he sets up a table before opening some champagne, "¿Tú vienes aquí mucho?"
"Hard pass." the doll walks away.
Wage walks over to Uglydog.
"I guess she's not bilingual, because that was my best line." Uglydog chuckles.
Wage swings her fist as she walks off, "Another swing, another miss."
Two female dolls were talking to each other, talking about their skirts.
"These skirts look so pretty on us." The blonde haired doll told her red headed friend.
"But are they absorbent?" Wage asks as she takes some wax from her ear and wipes it on her apron.
"Ew!" the two dolls exclaimed as they ran off.
Wage blew her nose into the apron as well.
Isabella walked around the place, noticing a few stares from the other human dolls, "Is this where I'm supposed to be?" she looks up and notices the portal to the Big World in front of her. She calls the Uglydolls to her.
Moxy gasps as they gather behind Isabella, "Just imagine, Uglies. All our dreams are waiting for us right through there. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is gonna stop us now."
Meanwhile...
Kitty, a pink haired doll that had her hair in pigtails, looked at the Uglydolls while holding a mirror, "Ew! What are those?"
A purple haired doll that had her hair in a ponytail, Lydia, tilted her head, "Is that supposed to be some kind of dog?"
Tuesday, a blue haired doll with short hair, turned to her friends, "Lou is so not gonna like this."
Kitty puts her mirror away, "Definitely not. He'll be like, "I do not like this. Ew, ew, ew."."
"Oh, my gosh, Kitty! That's such a good Lou impression!" Tuesday exclaims.
"I know, right?" Kitty turns to a red headed doll, Mandy, who had her hair up in a bun.
Tuesday and Lydia cross their arms and smirk.
"Uh...I know, too. Right?" Mandy answers nervously as the three dolls roll their eyes.
"What do you think, Elizabeth?" Lydia turns to a curly blonde haired girl, who was busy staring at something and covering her mouth.
"What is she doing?" Mandy asks.
"Probably trying not to throw up from those things." Kitty sticks her tongue out in disgust.
Elizabeth snaps out of it, "What? No! I was looking at the doll in front of them!"
"Where?" Tuesday asks.
"There!" Elizabeth points to Isabella who was still looking at the portal, smiling.
"Wait a moment...is that?..." Kitty gets a look of shock.
Lydia and Tuesday open their mouths too while Mandy looked confused.
Isabella turns and noticed the five dolls staring at her. She raises an eyebrow as they look away immediately.
A male doll walked up to the five dolls. He had brown hair with a green stripe, one purple eye, and one green eye. His name was Nolan, "Uh, excuse me, girls. Who's Lou?"
"Uh, oh." Elizabeth whispers nervously as Kitty gives him a shocked/disgusted look.
The lights go off as a spotlight shines on Nolan. Game show music plays in the background.
